Shatt headcanons?

Woot! This is a shop I've recently gained an affinity for🤩

Here goes:

.They are THE dorkiest couple period! Memes and inside jokes galore with these two😂- Keith and Pidge constantly facepalm at them, which usually makes them go at it harder lmao

.Shiro just naturally becomes part of the Holt fam even before he and Matt are officially together- Sam and Colleen adore him and Katie/Pidge also ends up looking up to him as an older brother/secondary father figure

. They would have a bunch of pets of all different alien species from their travels as a paladin and with the rebels put in space

.The first time they reunite after kerberos Matt BEGS him for a ride in the black lion

.He COMPLETELY geeks out over the ancient altean technologies and such within Black, Shiro laughs at how adoreable it is

.Once married and settled, they also foster lots of children, human and alien, as well as adopting some of the their own( can totally see them adopting a galra/ half galra baby and maybe even an altean baby from the colony that needed a home🥰) .

.They would be natural parents when they decide to have kids for sure!

. Matt can be a bit of a junk food junkie while Shiro likes to stick with a stricter, more balanced diet.

. Keith and Pidge often convince Shiro with sad puppy eyes to get them fast food/take out when Matt isn't in the mood to cook when they visit🤣

Instead of being the Klance fandom, the Sheith fandom, the Allurance fandom, etc., why don’t we just be the Voltron fandom?

I can’t go on social media without seeing people fighting with eachother about the relationships of two or more characters. I’m sick of it.

We are a community, united by the shared love and appreciation for Voltron. We are the Voltron community.

The reason Allurance can’t be canon

*SPOILERS!!!!!! POSSIBLE SPOILERS!!! READ AT OWN RISK!!!*

My main problem with what they have hinted at in Season 7 is Allurance. In my opinion, as thing stand between the two of them, they really shouldn't make Allurance cannon. Like, I don't mean to ship bash, but it wouldn't be a healthy relationship. Allura's showed no interest in lance before she found out he liked her. And he kinda died for her briefly which isn't healthy either. Although even after finding out lances feelings she still was completely committed to Lotor until she found out he was cheese and crackers. Since then there has been very little time for her to deal with what's left of those feelings and move on. Not to mention, that Lotor actually did love Allura. He didn't snap until after Allura dumped him. And she was really harsh about it too. He had the right ideas but went about them in the wrong ways. He didn't know what he was doing. He was trying to save the Altean and quite possibly the universe mainly by himself, which is a feat considering the lack of good role models he had growing up. Allura compared him to his father and called him a monster and shattered his heart in a matter of five minutes. He was angry and sad and he lost it and tried to kill them. The Voltron team was there to "battle evil Lotor" and he gave them just what they wanted. They totally provoked him. And deep down Allura knows all of this and she did love him and those feeling aren't just gone because he was messed up in the head. She is in no way ready for a relationship with Lance and if she starts to develop feelings for him now they will be forced and twisted. And that’s just talking about Allura. Lance is a bit of a train wreck himself. There are even moments dating back to Lances confession to the mice back in season six that he is coming to terms that she is out of his grasp and starting to move on. For example, the hug scene and then the moment with Veronica that he insisted that him and Allura weren’t a couple. He may have been right in not trusting Lotor, but Lance did recognize that Allura had actual feelings for him. He realizes that he isn’t Allura’s first choice and with Season 8 being the last season there is a good chance that Allura won’t have enough time to really get over Lotor. Which means that any Allura centered relationship, unless they make a Lotor redemption arc- which I think is still totally an option, that they will likely not have Allura in a relationship with anyone when the show ends. So I personally believe that Allurance isn’t going to become cannon and that their relationship will stay platonic.
