Britain is honestly wild right now.

on the 4th of july (of all days 😩), they passed a law where you could go to prison for up to 14 years just for supporting certain protest groups. and not even violent ones. some groups literally do things like throwing paint or blocking entrances. no weapons, no violence. and now they’re being treated like terrorists??

So let me get this straight:

• speaking up for human rights = jail

• protesting injustice = jail

• being angry about companies profiting from conflict = jail

but yeah, we’re the “free” country 🙃

i’m just tired. everything feels like it’s being censored, criminalised or ignored. and the scary part? so many people don’t even realise how bad it’s gotten. boycotts banned. protests banned. truth banned.
