So ancient ghosts (Clockwork, Pandora, Nocturne, Frosbite, Vortex, Undergrowth and Fright Knight) have the ability to sense each other, so imagine their surprise; minus Clockwork because he already knew; so when the portal accident happens they sense the birth of a new ancient, they search the Ghost Zone but find nothing.
Danny's first interaction with most of them leaves both side confused.
Nocturne, Vortex, Undergrowth and Fright Knight stop their messing with Amity Park plan to catch the baby ancient and get him somewhere safe.
Pandora and Frostbite use a more subtle approach by trying to convince Danny to visit more often and stay longer periods.
Meanwhile Danny, is confused as to why he feels a sense of safety with all of them.
At some point the ancients burst into Clockwork's lair demanding answers while looking ready for a fight and Clockwork just gives them some mystic answer. What really causes all hell to break loose is when Clockwork mentions that he called dibs first and the first punch is thrown.
At the same time, Danny comes to ask Clockwork some questions only to find Pandora having Vortex and Undergrowth in choke holds, Nocturne in some sort of time loop and Fright Knight trying to stab Clockwork with his sword.
Before he can ask anything, Frostbite just scoops him up and tells him they are having an impromptu training session at the Far Frozen. What Danny doesn't hear is Frostbite cursing Clockwork and wondering if he is the only sane one.
