these voltron leaks are wild
look at these s8 leaks can you even BELIEVE
WHAT CAN IT MEAN ???!!! O.O
kick; forget being pessimistic about the leaks
wanted to write this down somewhere.
So, in short, I don’t understand why the Allurance leak is making people pessimistic. It’s likely a goodbye scene and they’re both in tears lmao. If they were smiling, I could see why people would be pessimistic.
Anyways, I want to point out some things. I’ll make it short:
1. Lance has a confirmed romantic endgame
2. Allura is going to lead the colony, NOT DIE (likely saying goodbye in that crying scene and the statue of her in the selfie leaks are to appreciate her. It’s not to honor her death, why would the paladins be smiling and taking a selfie with it? That’s disrespectful. They’re likely sending the selfies to Allura back to where she’s leading the colony, or at least that’s my headcanon on it)
3. Lance is staying on earth and Allura is going to the colony. Lance won’t leave his family and planet, they mean too much to him. Allura won’t leave the colony without a leader, they need her and it means too much to her to leave it behind and not follow in her fathers’ footsteps. Their destinies have been foreshadowed throughout the show, and Lance chose Keith in the gameshow. They’re not going to do long distance either, I don’t think they can handle it.
4. Keith is going to stay on earth. There was a leak with him helping the BOM transition, but in the selfie he’s with the paladins on earth. He’s going to stay on earth, not lead the BOM. There are aliens on earth so if he is a leader, he will still be able to stay on earth.
5. Using the process of elimination, we can determine Lance’s endgame since it was limited down to 2 plausible choices (Allura or Keith) in season 6. He’s going to end up with Keith.
Their destiny is to stay on earth. Lance chose Keith and Keith chose Lance (in the gameshow). They’re endgame.
The thing with these “leaks” they all look like taken pictures (except for that Allurance scene, and that supposed Keith one?) Also, the supposed wedding kiss should take a few seconds, the characters not moving behind would be too weird portrayed on screen. (Like seriously guys, imagine it playing. Doesn’t it look fishy to you? Like it’s probably a 5/10+ secs moment. And no one moving behind?)
And... Yeah. My take?
They’re 100% fake.
The watermarks all look the same but with different names from the first ones. FISHY.
Why would someone leak black&white/sepia pictures when they could just send them as they take them.
And just... Okay but let’s talk physics for a good sec. (if you consider bit rates/coding, etc. physics ANYWAY) The .mov and h264 are missing. (as @darkspellmaster clearly explained here and there)... Which specify the video format (.mov is alike .mp4, it’s the file extension. .mov is more often QuickTime compatible for exemple. But if they were pictures, there would still be .jpg/jpeg or .png or something. But there isn’t), while h264 indicate the quality (audio and video) basically having the best quality with a lower bit rate (i.e. better quality, less space)... And yeah, they’re literally the most important piece of information that would make these real... But they’re not.
On another note, even if they’re real (which, they’re not tbh) let’s just be happy Shiro is happy.
UPDATE: @darkspellmaster also pointed out the “locked updated” bit... Why would you update an audio/voice-over on random photos/selfies... It’s not like any of the voice actor would need lip synchronization in these cases. And it’s often why takes are retaken, because they’re not enough in sync. Even if there was voice-overs over those, I don’t think they’d really need to see those either... ANYWAY
Wtf voltron. I leave for 3 hours and there are apparently even more leak?? Da fuck is going on on keiths bday
God if those leaks are real im so pissed that they just chose a random guy for shiro and they were like "okay see we were planning this the whole time you were wrong for doubting us because we're so good at rep uwu" and even if its adam (which it doesnt even look like) its really stupid because it still feels tacked on. Hell, its really pathetic that its just put on the end credits anyways
