Hello, I hope you're having a great day or night. I have a few questions, and I'm going to apologize in advance. They're mainly about Vylad and Zenix because they're my favorite characters in this fic and in the source material, alright

Does Vylad know anything about Zenix's past, like before the shadow knights, and how he became an SK, or is Vylad more of a "Zenix doesn't share, so they won't push" kind of person?

How did Gene and Sasha react to Zenix and Vylad being a couple, or did they get together after they joined the house?

In Minecraft Diaries s2:ep 38, Laurence says that Sasha was part of Vylad's torture. Is that still canon in your story?

Do Zenix and Vylad celebrate anniversaries, and if so, what do they do?

Last one, sorry if you answered this before, but who confessed to whom first, Vylad or Zenix?

Vylad does know Zenix's backstory. Vylad and Laurance are the only ones that know the details behinds Zenix's past and the circumstances that resulted in him becoming a Shadow Knight, because Zenix told both of them (at different points). The only thing Sasha and Gene know about Zenix's past is that the people Zenix grew up with were really shitty and that's about it.

Gene and Sahsa didn't really have that big of a reaction to discovering Zenix and Vylad were a couple. They joined up with the other three after Vylad and Zenix had gotten together, so they didn't get to deal with how they didn't get along at first. At most it was a small "huh, didn't see that coming" based on what they knew about them beforehand. Gene specifically was kinda confused because his understanding of romantic relationships at that point wasn't great. I plan to go more into this in the adaptation of Season 2 for my fic, but TLDR, there was a solid period of time where Gene straight up did not believe romantic attraction was a real thing and thought people only entered relationships for pragmatic reasons.

I will be honest it has been long enough since I watched MCD that I forgot that Sasha was involved in torturing Vylad. I'm gonna just say that that isn't canon for the purposes of my fic purely because I don't want to deal with any potential ramifications of that.

Vylad and Zenix do celebrate their anniversaries! Neither of them really do anything particularly big for it though. They just make sure to go on a date and take turns each year in who plans it. So one year Zenix makes plans and the next Vylad plans it. The activities vary year by year but they always make sure to spend the whole day together.

Zenix was the one to confess first in my mind! He went for it pretty much as soon as he recognized that his feelings for Vylad were more than just sexual attraction. He did his best to not let it show, but it was the most nervous he'd felt in a long time.

How I wrote their names is how I think their handwriting looks like.

Zenix is Korean and Romanian

Sasha is either Ukrainian or Polish

Gene’s Portuguese

Sasha also has a disability where she can’t stand/walk for long

Vylenix is sooo tragic because imagine you’re a surrogate for someone in a loved one’s life. You don’t really know who they lost, or how, but you know that you’re the substitute, you’re their attempt at a second chance, and you know they’re failing and there’s nothing you can do to stop it because it’s not really all their fault so much as it is that you’re both a victim to circumstance

And then it’s HIM who causes your downfall. He whom you’re meant to replace. Because of him, all of your facades and carefully constructed appearances are starting to crumble. You cannot be him because he will not allow you to be viewed as anything other than yourself. He exposes you and your only options are to kill him or to kill everyone who is exposed to your true nature. And your paths will never cease to cross, because no matter how far yours leans away, he will force his to follow.

What is this? Well, Vylenix Week is a week dedicated to creating fanworks (based off of a prompt for each day of the event) for the Aphverse Ship between Vylad Ro'Meave and Zenix.

Each day of the Event will feature two different prompts to choose from.
