These magazines were on the table behind Vyv in Lestallum. You might recognise the bikini girl magazine as the one Gladio falls asleep under sometimes when they stay over at Cape Caem. I got a surprise when I tried to get closer look at the magazine. If you get too close to something in Ansel the camera goes through it, which is how you can end up with some terrifying images of eyeballs and teeth if you get too close to people’s faces. With the magazine though, if you get the angle just right you can see what’s on the page behind the cover. This is what I found. Behind the girl in the bikini is another bikini shot. There is also some text. Unfortunately the text makes no sense. I think someone just bashed the keyboard to make it look like there were words but it’s pretty interesting to see the effort that went in to making a magazine page that no-one will ever see. I haven’t tried it with other magazines yet but I’ll be sure to post my results when I do. All images copyright Square Enix Co Ltd.
