also while it's on my mind i am still so so sorry about the lack of waffleverse updates since june. rest assured i am still working on it! i've just been battling a bad case of writer's block + got a job again shortly after i posted part 5 + had other Life Stuff happen over the summer + school has started up again

Ever accidentally go from pressure with your friends, to in character among us (with enough technical difficulties on your end to give you war flashbacks for a year), to a 7 hour voice call with your best friend staying awake to the point you go delirious at 9am? Yeah- me- me neither

First year in a while where I’ve been excited to buy someone’s Christmas present

(And before people say “why are you buying it now?!” BECAUSE HER BIRTHDAY IS IN JANUARY ON MY PAYDAY SO DECEMBER’S CHEQUE IS GOING ON THAT)

Guys I have so many ideas for if Elodie hadn’t’ve died in the end and one of them being; she goes back to the village and teaches them that although sirens are dangerous, not all of them are bad (after having a long talk with Theo I’d hope)

and in a few years she opens up an orphanage in Pixson Village so she can take care of the lost children like her and give them a caring mother figure. One child that Elodie formally adopted would be called WILLOW SEREPHINE PIXSON NAMED AFTER BOTH OF ELODIE’S MOMS (adoptive and bio) and Elodie would continuously advocate for the village to be a welcoming place for Mer-folk! Even rebuilding her bakery AND MAKING AN UNDERWATER ONE!

If it wasn’t obvious I miss Elodie a lot but I’m happy with how her story ended. This was more of a “what if…” I thought of before settling on Elodie dying :3
