I don't what's worse. Walburga hating Regulus so passionately after he came out to her as trans, to the point she kicks him out of the house, the very one he had wished he could escape from fir years

Walburga finally stops showing her intense hatred and accepting Regulus as trans once Sirius runs away because they desperately needed a heir. Regulus losing all his freedom to chase love that he thinks he's finally getting, after all those years of suffering

Btw when the black brothers were little and still chased their parents love, Sirius hated Regulus for being so perfect that he never got in trouble and had to be punished like him.

And Regulus hated him because at least when Sirius was getting punished he was getting attention. Their parents never glanced at him twice

Walburga may have hated Sirius but she still loved him. He was a problem child and needed to be disciplined, but she saw herself in him and only wanted the best for him in her own fucked up way

She didn't love Regulus not even one bit. She never felt maternal towards him. He always listened without second, too quiet, he was too moldable, too blank to love. She only ever saw him as a pawn.
