Hi there 🥀 ,I was wondering if you could write some angst/fluff with the warden x reader, where the warden is trying to comfort the reader but reader end up feel mad and an hour later they come back into the warden's arms.
✮⋆˙ 𝙰𝚕𝚕 𝙸 𝙲𝚊𝚛𝚎 𝙰𝚋𝚘𝚞𝚝 .⋆♱
Of course I can!! I wasn’t sure how to set this properly so I set it pre Murkoff, I do hope that’s alright! But if not, I can do another one that is IN Murkoff, but it may be a bit harder to write so that’s why is this PRE Murkoff.
Also slipping in a HC, I hc the warden, prior to becoming the warden, was a real warden to Mount Massive and he was speaking against Murkoff so they took my boy💔
I also didn’t give him a name directly so if you have a HC name for him, you can apply it to this!
I also ask you be patient with me, I don’t have ALL the outlast lore wrapped around my head yet, so if I get anything wrong don’t hesitate to correct me in the comments.
No TW’s needed but it has a slightly sad ending.
Pre Murkoff Warden X FEM Reader
You breathed a sigh of relief as your husband walked through the door, his work bag placed atop a small side table as you trotted over to him, your heels clacked in perfect rhythm against the wooden floor.
You placed a kiss upon his cheek, he could notice the tension in your lips though, speaking before you could greet him.
“Is something the matter, dear? You seem relieved.”
“Just thankful to see my darling husband alright..”
He chuckled, a hefty and handsome sound, but one that mocked your concern.
“And why wouldn’t I be? I don’t see why that wouldn’t be the case.”
“Well you know, you planning to speak against Murkoff, it worries me. Oh I don’t like that Murkoff, and I don’t like you speaking against them!”
“But have you seen what they’re doing to my poor patients, dear? I can’t let them torture them like this.”
“And what if they take you, dear? I can’t risk to loose you!”
He chuckled again, his hands taking yours from his face, the lipstick on his cheek like a stamp.
“You worry too much, honey. I’m the warden! They’re bound to listen to me.”
You grew angry, you loved him but god was he an idiot! You scrunch your nose and storm off, muttering about continuing to make dinner. You hadn’t even started to make it.
Watching you leave, a twang of guilt punched at his heart, his wedding ring feeling just that little bit tighter, but what could he possibly tell you? That you’re delusional? That Murkoff would never do such a thing? You certainly had a point, but he just couldn’t wrap his head around it.
He sighed and shut the front door behind him, moving to hang his coat and.. hopefully find and comfort you. Only getting as far as a cold shoulder at the stove and the silent treatment.
You could only hide your tears for so long, though. It was after dinner, after the dishes were washed and your hair curled in its rollers, he had settled into bed and prepared himself for another back in his face, yet when met with tears on his shoulder, his arms curled around you, your weeping cradled by the the crook of his neck and upcoming double chin.
“Oh my dear, what’s wrong?”
You spilled your heart out about how you feared Murkoff, how you feared what they’d do to your darling, your funny honey, how all you cared about was his safety, his life. You were terrified! Fears of their projects, fears of their tests, of the lives they’d take, of lives they’d ruin, of how they’d ruin the life you two had built! Next to inconsolable, he could only rub your back and shush you, making naive promises that he’d be alright, that you’d be alright, that they wouldn’t dare!
You drifted off soon enough, the enclosed warmth of your husband and the kisses he left in place of your tears being enough to soothe you long enough for you to fall asleep. Maybe he was right, maybe his scheduled meeting to bring his concerns to Murkoff and other officials of the Asylum would go well. Maybe it’ll all be alright.

He couldn’t remember how long it had been. He was starting to forget your face. He didn’t want to forget your beautiful, your sweet face. But when he was only allowed to look at one, his features poisoned their way into yours.
I keep thinking your profile picture is that circus baby plushie and I love it. Also do you have any cute warden headcanons? Outlast trials ofc
Hmm, I usually don't write for trial victims because they don't catch my eye. I could do this one.
If you're also a pet of Coyle's, I think the Warden can be insufferable at times because of his overwhelming need to please, but when the two of you are alone, he's good company. He's not selfish. Mainly because it's really easy to intimidate him without trying, everything he does is to avoid being hurt. When it's time to sleep, he definitely takes on the burden of being your pillow. Which, he comes to not really mind, because he ends up realizing the body heat goes both ways.
He's hard to talk to though. Constantly worrying about Coyle and obsessed with the idea that he's always listening. He refuses to badmouth him because he's convinced that Coyle will appear out of thin air. Though, he does readily give out tips to survive, pointing out what Coyle likes and what he hates. He quietly corrects you to attempt to lighten your "training" from Coyle.

★ synopsis —
after being chased into the woods, you accidentally entered the wall. you've lost all hope until you meet the warden of this place. just what do you do when he gets a little too attached?
— ꒰ > ⋆ < ꒱
The wind howls through the trees of the woods, nipping at anything warm blooded bearing no protection. The moon is finally making its appearance after a long day of warmth. The forbidden woods. Everyone knew it was dangerous to tread its path. Those who enter shall never return to be heard of again.
Your pounding footsteps slow down after running for so long, your breaths come out in puffs. Had they caught up to you? You looked behind you but all you're met with are trees. Three men had chased you around the village for stealing the cloak on your shoulders. They had chased you for so long, running into the woods seemed like your only option. Your fingers tremble slightly, you were terrified but you didn't regret your actions.
Drip drip
You blink your eyes but that didn't seem to stop the tears from leaving. The cloak was rightfully yours, it was a gift stolen from you —— you were only getting it back. There was a price to pay, you were never able to return to the place you had once called home. You press on deeper into the woods, leaving an invisible trail of dripping tears in your wake. You hug yourself deeper into the cloak. You walk for a little while until your tears finally dry on your cheek.
The forest is almost pitch black now, you can hardly make out your surroundings. In the distance, you noticed a faint glow. Curiosity prickles at your chest. And against your better judgement, you walk towards the purple glow like an attracted moth.
Up close, you have no idea what you were looking at. It looked like an entrance to another part of the woods, it was massive. It glows faintly, ethereal like almost mesmerizing. What was it?
Crunch!
Something snaps behind you. You swirl around, breaking out of that state. You don't see anything, it's pitch dark behind you. Were the woods always this scary? You try to focus your eyes. However nothing is there. You feel a sudden throb of unease in your gut. Did the men find you? There's a sound of rustling causing you to flinch hard. You take a step back.
What do you do?
Your heart beats loudly in your ears, you're almost certain who or whatever it was out there could hear it too. A low grumble in the near distance has you taking another step back. This time your foot catches on a stray pebble causing you to trip backwards. You land on your butt and hands ..and on the other side of the wall. You hiss slightly cause your hands scrape against the sharp rocks on the ground. You bite your lip to ignore the pain. You take a moment and look around in amazement.
Where in the world were you?
⪩⪨
They whispered of a new being entering through the wall. Nothing escapes the rooks who live in the trees near it. Perhaps it was another child who had simply disobeyed their parents' countless warnings of what lies inside the woods? That was truly what he expected. And like usual he had no intentions of setting them free to cross back over. He considered going to meet the unlucky traveler. These humans that ended up crossing the wall hardly ever had a good end to their fate, Aerie was only so kind to those who were worthy of its kindness. And whoever Aerie deems unfit, it leaves them to the mercy of him —— The Warden. It was his job to protect Aerie.
He's near the gate in no time, having been not too far away earlier. He stays in the shadows and observes the figure on the ground. From his position behind the tees, he can see your face clearly. You did not look like a child. How strange. Your dark curly hair is pulled back into a small ponytail, a few curls had managed to escape the hold, that told him that you had been running previously. Upon closer observation, he takes with great notice the stains left by the tears that had once graced your cheek. He finds himself wondering what had caused you to shed enough tears to leave such stains.
You look around the area frantically in terrified wonder, that was a look he was quite used to seeing. All you humans had it. Except yours seem to be dull. He wonders why that was.
After a minute of swiveling your head around getting a better knack of your surroundings, you stop. Your lip trembles slightly as you hug the cloak around your shoulders tighter and stare into the forest before you, painfully unaware of the stolen eyes on you. The Warden wonders what to do with you now, Aerie had left you to his mercy though you had not the slightest idea of the predicament. He could kill you right now. He really could. But...
He notices how your eyes became glossy once again. In the darkish glow of the forest, your eyes sparkle. Even with the painful emotions, they sparkle with tears. They sparkle beautifully like the stars above. For once in his life of endless guarding, he feels hesitant to kill a trespasser. Instead of killing you, he wanted to get closer.
You don't cry. Your lips move, but no sound comes out. He can tell your mind is racing. With what? He has not the slightest clue. Judging by the shoes on your feet, the cloak you wear is by all means not yours. You appear to be of lowly birth. Perhaps a struggle with life? That is only the conclusion that seemed most possible. Had you stolen the garment you pulled tightly around your shoulders?
Though he wasn't quite sure what he was to do with you, he finally decides it's time to make himself known.
⪩⪨
To you he almost appeared in front of you in a flash, that was because you hadn't noticed him walking up to you until he was quite literally in your face. You flinch at the person crouched beside you.
“Human, why have you so boldly crossed through the wall?”
You don't answer his question just yet, eyes wide——studying the being who seemingly appeared out of nowhere. He looks human however something about him just feels slightly off, you feel that deep in your bones. His eyes——sparkly like jewels, pink as vibrant spinel——stare at you so intensely. You could feel yourself shrinking in his haunting beautiful gaze. Your heart has been pounding so loudly ever since this man — creature had entered your range of sight. It is after a few moments of silence had you realized you hadn't exactly answered his question.
“Please forgive me, sir.” Your voice is slightly rough from lack of water. You look away from him, unsure how to behave. Who was he? “I-I had no means to cross over. I merely stumbled in by pure accident.”
As your voice trembles, you're very conscious of the fact that your truth sounded like a feeble lie. You do hope that he, whoever he was, wouldn't think you were lying and punish you for your lame words. You can feel his eyes bore into you, almost like he was looking at your soul. You wish you would just stop trembling like a little liar because you were not one.
“Do you know what happens to those who find themselves in Aerie by "pure accident"?” You can't help but flinch when he repeats your words. You cannot for the life of you figure out his tone, was he angry with you? You wet your bottom lip slightly with your tongue out of nervousness.
“No, sir,” you answer him. Your lips pout slightly. You assume this is going to be your end. Your heart sinks slightly, you didn't have anything else to live for. There was no one alive who was going to mourn you. You had no belongings to pass down. Perhaps this was for the good. You wouldn't have to deal with your aunts, uncles, or cousins anymore—that somewhat comforts you.
When the man in front of you says nothing, you finally look at him again. His beauty strikes you once more. What would he do to you? You notice how he is staring down, down at your hands. Suddenly you remember the sharp sting in your palms from your fall.
“You're hurt.” In normal circumstances those words were supposed to sound gentle, caring —— still now, you can't seem to get a read on this guy. You want to say that his words were supposed to sound gentle, just to ease yourself, convince yourself that he didn't want to kill you.
You choose not to answer, instead you look at your bleeding palms as well. They had gotten scratched by your fall into this place. Your blood drips red and slow down your hand disappearing into the soft grass. The cuts weren't deep however it hurt stupidly like a paper cut. How did he even notice?
“Eep!” You squeak, suddenly lifted up so fast it almost made your head spin. He is warm in contrast to the cool air. You feel yourself growing hot in embarrassment. “What are you doing?!”
“You're hurt.” He just repeats his previous words. That does nothing to ease the feeling of wanting to crawl in a hole right then and there.
“Wait put me down! I'm too h-heavy—!”
“Foolish human, to even consider the possibility of you being 'too heavy' for me to carry. How dare you.” If you thought you couldn't get any more embarrassed, you thought wrong. His words strangely brought a tingly feeling in your stomach, you forgot to feel afraid. You didn't even wonder where he was taking you.
⪩⪨
The warden does not spiral or have anxious moments questioning his own decisions. He does not. Yet here he finds himself wondering why he had brought the girl to his home. He doesn't allow anyone to know of his secret dwelling place, his place of rest. No one even knows about it. He's kept it well hidden. Until now.
He had healed up the scrapes on your hands with his magic. He could have healed you in the forest then, why did he come all this way? Perhaps he didn't want anyone to see him failing to keep their forests safe by allowing this human to live. Yes, let's go with that. That is exactly the reason why.
There was something off-putting about this girl, he couldn't figure out what. His eyes just couldn't seem to leave you—as if cast under some spell. He was the warden though, he wasn't easily defeatable by magic alone. Unless you were some sort of higher magical being than him, there was no way he was under a spell right now. Especially without him knowing.
You clear your throat, awkwardly. You're nervous under his very watchful gaze.
“Thank you for healing me, sir.” He nods just once. Your eyes go back down to your folded hands in your lap. You look softer under the magical lights in his home, even in your much nervousness. The warden tilts his head slightly. You were lovely to look at, he'd have to admit to himself for sure. “...Are you going to kill me?”
You speak hardly above a whisper. He doesn't answer. He's not too sure of it himself. Will he kill you? He didn't have to search himself for an answer for long. No. He did not want to kill you. Why? That question however takes more time to find an answer to. When he still doesn't reply, you decide to take the chance and ask another question.
“Will I be able to leave now?” Your voice is small.
“No,” he says rather quickly with more force than intended, you flinch. He didn't like the thought of you leaving his sight. To wander around Aerie free like a rook. To be perceived by others. It leaves a distasteful feeling in his chest, settled like a heavy weight. What strange thoughts...
“No?” You repeat before pressing your lips into a thin line.
“You will stay here until I figure out what to do with you.” The tone of his voice switches, you aren't too sure what this tone meant either — however it makes you shiver in fear.
⪩⪨
Your lips press into a line as you wander about the kitchen. It has been 5 days since you became a prisoner in his home. Your boredom has peaked through the roof, the shapes you could make out in the ceiling had lost your interest yesterday, and you had seen every inch of the small garden with tall fences in the back by now. You now patiently wait for your captor to make his return, gazing out the window like a child waiting for their parent to finally come home.
You've tried to escape the first day he left you alone, you had tried the door, the windows, the garden gate and even the small fireplace chimney. You wanted to climb the fence but it was too tall. It was all futile cause later that day when he returned it was then he had informed you that this place was magically sealed. No one can enter, no one can escape. Even with that information, on the second, third and fourth day, you attempted to escape once more but nothing you did gave any positive results. You just ended up tiring yourself out. By today, the fifth, you had finally given up — accepting this fate that has become your life. You didn't cry. There wasn't any reason to. It wasn't like your life had changed completely, you were basically a prisoner in your old one if not more ever since your grandmother — your only true kin had left you in this world by the tragedy, death. Your remaining biological family had treated you like a stranger in the home. You came to the conclusion that living here was better than your old life.
Your gaze in the window falls on the familiar blond as he makes the winding path up. You don't feel exactly excited to see him just a strange ease knowing you weren't trapped in here alone. You knew it wasn't a good thing to feel such feelings towards a person who had quite literally trapped you somewhere against your own will. You just couldn't help it. He wasn't exactly rude to you, in a way it almost felt like you were just a guest in his home. Well that's only when he isn't mad at you, offering silence that makes you bite your tongue. Other than that he provides you food and water, clothes, and a surprisingly comfortable place to sleep. If you didn't know better, you would have truly believed you were just a guest.
All you knew of your captor was that he was the warden of these woods, called Aerie. That he was on a search for a troublesome prince and his accomplice, and that he just wants to keep Aerie safe. You could never fault someone for wanting to be safe, perhaps that's why you were slowly warming up to this place.
You have a thought what if he thought of you as a threat to Aerie not that you knew of any about yourself that could possibly be dangerous to a whole kingdom? If you could show him that you weren't a threat, maybe he would stop being so wary and let you free?
⪩⪨
His conflicts only grew. After his search for Sebastian ends for the day with no progress, he returns to his home. You're there to greet him. After a few days, it starts to seem routine. Coming home to your face, your voice and your scent — it almost makes him dizzy, but he had no right to complain. He had brought you here himself.
In just 3 days, he becomes used to your seemingly never ending conversations. Should they even be considered conversations when it was if not all one sided? He would just listen to you speak until you didn't have anything else to say or until you fell asleep on his sofa, which ever came first. You would speak of anything; what you've done in the day waiting for his return, the interesting crawling insects in the garden you had never seen before, your life when you were young and your grandmother. He paid attention to your words even when there were times you thought he didn't care. He noticed when you speak of this 'grandmother' your eyes would get sad all of a sudden, yet you spoke so highly of her. He didn't know the world on the other side of the wall could be so fascinating...
It came to the point that he looked forward to returning to his home in the evening even when his journey proved to be fruitless, and it was all because of you. You. You. You. It was all so confusing. He never felt such weird things for his subjects but then again the rooks did not talk his ear off in the evenings with their ridiculous stories.
As the days went by, the warden continued to find comfort in your presence. Tonight you recall of a memory from the past —— star gazing with your grandmother, your eyes sparkled as you speak. He heard the sleepiness in your voice before you had even known you were tired. Not even 5 minutes later, you fall asleep. He watches you for a little bit before he suddenly moves closer. He pulls a blanket up to your chin, shielding you from the coming chill. He does not move away just yet. His finger moves a dark curl from your face before he could stop himself. Your soft breathing was the main melody in the enclosure of his home. You looked ever so innocent in your sleep, your eyelashes fans across your cheek, your lips slightly part — you look like you couldn't hurt a fly —— so precious. What had you done to him?
⪩⪨
“Surely...” you suddenly begin, one night after dinner. There's a nervousness to your words. You sit on the sofa with your hands folded into your lap. He sits almost across from you on a matching loveseat, writing down something important. He waits patiently for you to continue. Two minutes pass and you don't continue your sentence. He finally stops his writing and looks at you. He studies your face, it's as nervous looking as your tone had been prior.
“What is it?” He asks for you to continue. You hesitate, playing with the hem of your top. A habit he's noticed you do when nervous. You inhale and then exhale softly.
“Surely, Mr Warden sir, I have proven to you that I am not a threat to Aerie?” Your voice wavers slightly. You look at him finally, his magenta eyes are already on you.
“Of course you have proven so. From the start might I say.” His answer is simple. He returns to his work. You wet your lips slightly and ponder his words for a few seconds before following up,
“Then if I pose no threat to the kingdom, can I... Can I leave?” His hand abruptly stops writing, the action — or should I say the lack of action makes your heart begin to pound. Did you make him angry? You wonder, perhaps you could only make him angry so many times. What now? Your hand begins to tremble.
“Why?”
Why? Why did you want to leave? You had everything provided to you without having to lift a finger. You were safe. You should be grateful you were still alive. Why is it that you wanted to leave? Perhaps deep down you knew it was wrong that he kept you here.
He chuckles darkly when you don't give him an answer. The sound brings tingles to your stomach, you could not tell if it was pleasant or not. However you do know that the sound causes you to flinch. He takes notice of that.
“The answer is no, Y/N,” he tells you. He hardly ever says your name unless it is serious. Your hope sinks and shrivels up in your chest.
“But——”
“There will be no argument!” He raises his voice, you flinch again. “You will remain here and that is final. You must remember your place, human. It is my will that you are allowed to see another day. Do not forget.”
You had gotten too comfortable. The lines of captor and friend had blurred for you after weeks of living in this place. You mistook his kindness, it was so foolish of you. Tears gloss your eyes as your lip quivers. The Warden is scary when he wants to be.
The Warden gets up from his place on the loveseat and he takes the necessary steps to leave the house. You're left alone in silence after the echo of the slamming door subsides. The tears don't hesitate to fall after that. You had made him really angry and that makes you start to feel guilty. You curse yourself for your stupidity. You cry. You cry hard. You feel helpless. You don't know what to do now. Is this the end of your life?
⪩⪨
It is the wee hours of the morning when he returns with a clear head. The warden had never felt such an overwhelming sort of emotion that it clouds his better judgement. He knew it was wrong to just keep you trapped in his home like this. You had done nothing wrong.
He had regretted snapping at you earlier, he wants to apologize. He also knows that he shouldn't be keeping you here for himself even though he wanted to.
Upon entering the house, the stillness was prominent. He finds you already asleep but that had been expected, it was late after all. He sits on the floor beside your sleeping form. The guilt in his stomach feels foreign to him, it hit him worse when he sees the dried up tears on your face. He knew those tears are because of him and that made him feel worse. His hand light touches your cheek. He is going to apologize to you tomorrow morning. He didn't want you to leave him... His finger strokes your hand so softly, almost afraid of breaking you. He really didn't want for you to go but he was willing to compromise ...If that's what you wanted.
― ʚ warning ɞ ― designer found no danger in her creation
― ʚ author note ɞ ― Es is honestly my favourite Milgram character, anyway enjoy this lovely story with you being delulu
Es was walking towards the integration room to start the integration, if they remember correctly Jackalope mentioned something about you being crazy? Delusional? Something like that, Es already dealt with Mikoto and his other personality honestly they just wanted to rest but they had to integrate you too, Es wonders how you will act will you be as crazy as the other Mikoto or was Jackalope mistaken?
Es finally arrived in the integration room only to notice nobody was there, which was strange... Where the hell were you? They definitely didn't see you in your cell when they were walking here, well seems they are going to have to look for yo-
"Hello there stranger"
"HOLY SHIT!"
"Jesus you scared me!"
...and you didn't say anything
"uhh how about you sit down and we talk?"
"no"
"...what?"
Once again you ignored him
"ehh what can I do for you to sit down?"
"Kneel down and ask"
"...I can't believe I'm doing this..."
Es took a deep breath before kneeling down Infront of you
"can you please sit down?"
"add 'you Highness' and I will"
"you gotta be kidding me..."
"ehhh... Can you please sit down you highness?"
"sure!"
You walked up to a chair and sat down, and when you did that Es stood up and walked up to their chair sitting down, well at least they knows you are not crazy like Mikoto's other personality... Still you are 100% delusional! Well I guess Es will have to refer to you as you highness
"name,age and crime please"
Silence
"you highness"
"[Y/N] [L/N], I'm [age] and as for my crime I done nothing"
"I have been told all 11 of you killed someone that includes you"
"hmm well I certainly don't recall hurting someone"
"ehhh I guess I won't go anywhere with you"
"listen here Milgram exists for me to judge you"
"really? Well that's certainly not fair"
"and what could you mean by that"
"favouritism, you might fall for someone and vote them innocent because you love them, or someone will help you and you will vote them innocent because of that, which is unfair"
"we are on two different sides you are a prisoner and I'm a warden, so what ever you say means nothing"
"is that so? Then I won't answer any of your questions!"
"I swear to god..."
That was when you first met Es, and also one of the reasons you got closer to him... especially since you verdict was guilty after that you got beaten by Kotoko and 2nd trial begun
"good morning"
"just give me your questions..."
"huh? Not going to tell me to call you your highness?"
Silence
"you got beaten pretty badly haven't you?"
"isn't it obvious?"
Well that was odd you didn't speak in your fantasy ways? Es hated that yes but now that you stopped it feels like an important part of you died out, Es hated that even more
"will you finally tell me who you murder?"
"no...I won't tell you a thing about what I did...I don't trust you"
"your trust doesn't matter, what matters is you telling me what did you do"
Silence
"will you finally answer me?"
Silence again
"I swear to god, will you finally act your age?! life isn't all about rainbows!"
"you think I don't know that?!"
Es got quite hearing you scream they certainly didn't expect it
"You don't even understand why I act like I do"
"how should I know you act like a 4 year old"
"then I guess you never heard about people being delusional!"
Es got quiet once more...you were right in some parts but still why? What happened why did you suddenly change now that you are acting normal Es hates it, is it because they hate liars? But if they do shouldn't they hate you for being delusional? They're confused
Well how about I cut the little angst part short, because who wants angst when Milgram already gives a lot,so now here cute Headcanons with our dear prison guard
୨⎯ "Headcanons" ⎯୧
The quite long scenario before this probably already answered you question how would Es react to you being delulu
Es geniually wouldn't be a fan of this kind of behaviour, but only at the start later on they will somewhat follow through especially when you learn more about delulu people
After learning more Es will act how you wish, but still they have a limit especially since they are a prison guard
Now if two start dating after them voting you guilty for the first time,Es geniually enjoys your behaviour it's unique in many ways and they love that!
Also Es sometimes finds it pleasing to refer to you as 'you highness' but only sometimes don't tell anybody
Though who am I kidding Kotoko probably notices it, and honestly maybe Yuno will personally ask if you see Es as your King or fellow royalty in front of them for a little tease(Es was a tomato because of that)
I think Es will protect your honor around Jackalope especially since he will definitely think you are crazy,I mean he thought that before anyway
I feel like there's a chance Es would get you a little tiara when getting supplies for the other prisoners, and personally they just want to see you happy
Es also probably more calm? Around you of course after you start dating wanting for you to remain happy if delusion does that then they are glad, but they still want you to not be delusional maybe becoming your safe place so you stop, but truthfully speaking Es doesn't want you lying to yourself pretending to not be delusional only because people think it's weird, they know you will heal eventually and until then, Es will be you fellow royalty in Milgram prison
He would constantly want your attention. Often going up to you, always smiling.
Hes very clingy. If ur taller then him, he'll climb on you, wrapping his arms around you. Or give you a big hug. Or hold ur hand. Literally anything, he just wants to be close to you.
He would always smile when he sees you. Calling out to you. You wouldn't have time reacting 'cus hes already infront of you.
He will show you around super jail. Hes very careful. He doesn't want you to get hurt. So hes always next to you, just looking out for you.
He would randomly bring you flowers. Stammering over his words.
He would even snuggle up to you randomly.
He would also compliment you a lot.
He can get jealous very easyly. He would threaten the person whos having more attention than him.
He just loves you so much.
He will akwardly ask you out. If you say yes, he will be very happy. Jumping around. Already planning the date.
If you say no. He would make a sad face. Very sad about the fact that you don't love him back. Thats fine! He'll just keep on trying to make you fall for him.
Bonus little creepy headcanon. I think he would have a room full of pictures of you. Just admiring you there, thats all. He daydreams about you. Not in a weird, but in a romantic way.
“Don’t expect much from this place. It’s a prison.” The warden’s footsteps flood the dimly lit corridors, a rabbit-like creature following at his side. “You no longer have the right to freedom, you’ll be caged up just like everyone else.” Keys jingle as a creaky metal gate opens, pressure pushes against your back as you feel like you’re falling into nothing, the last thing you see is their face.
That’s all you remember. Well, until the blinding lights awaken you, and there they are, the warden, towering over you as everything starts to make sense.
You’re stuck here now. No matter what you do, you can’t leave.
Es gently holds your face as they rub under your eyes, gently shaking your arm while whispering. Your eyes slowly open as you recognize their face.
“They’re up, be gentle with them or I’ll deal with you myself.”
They stand up, glancing at you before leaving the room, the sound of their footsteps echoing the room before the door slams shut.
“So you’re the new prisoner, huh? I’m Kashiki Yuno, it’s nice to meet you!”
She extends her hand out to you, helping you up as it seems as if everyone’s eyes are on you.
“Thank you, Yuno.”
“Of course! This is Kazui, we’ll be around if you need us!”
The man nods, following behind her as they leave.
You can’t tell how long you’ve been here after a while, days blend together and turn into what feels like months or years. You get along with the other prisoners fairly well, although since the first trial Kotoko’s become violent, Yuno’s become less social, Amane seems to hate Shidou now and Fuuta and Mahiru are more battered and bruised than ever, although somehow Mikoto’s fine but besides them, everyone’s changed, including you.
You don’t remember much from your interrogation, although you remember one specific moment. Es holding your face in their hands exactly like they did when they first found you.
“Freedom is a privilege, angel. Even if you’re a prisoner, I’ll do anything to give you that freedom back.”

As your eyes flickered to the camera your lips moved, just a smidge. “Your counting.” Collinn stated, looking away from you.
“Mhmm.”
“Begs the question what are you counting.” His voice had his slight accent to it, not as strong had you had heard him play it in the past.
“Cameras, creating a floor plan of security view. Old habit.” Your eyes finally met his and he raised a brow. “And you have analysed at least a dozen escape routes from this building, we all have our habits.” You clicked your tongue at him causing him to chuckle.
“You're not wrong. Done a lot of recons have we?”
“You know I have Collinn, don’t play dumb with me.” He laughed next to you at your annoyance.
“Ah lighten up darling, we aren't even working right now.” Collinn parted your shoulder and your scowl continued as you analysed the area. “What’s gotten you so worked up hmm? Having trouble turning the mindset off?” His voice came ever lower at the end of his sentence and you could tell there was some level of concern there.
“Somethings off.” His eyes squinted at this, not dismissing the idea.
“Any idea what?”
“No clue, I just- hmm. Gut feeling and all that, this place feels so… wrong? Ah, don’t be concerned it’s probably just stress.”
“Now sweetheart, I wouldn’t brush your instincts off so quickly. That being said, you have been feeling stressed recently?” Collinn’s hand found yours and you let out a breath while his thumb ran over your knuckles.
“This place has so many blindspots, it's so unusual. Most of the cameras point to the middle of the room.” You changed the subject.
“Well, it is where the stage would be set up.”
“Yeah but you don’t need so many covering one area, a few different angles are nice yeah but hmm.” Your hand went to your phone and you started to tap away.
“Now what are you doing?” The pair of you had stopped in a hallway to the side of the transport hub.
“Bringing up the floor plans to this place.” You muttered and when you glanced up from your phone he had his arms folded and leaned against the wall.
“So long as we don’t miss our train.” He glanced down at his watch.
“Oh interesting” Your words caught his attention and you zoomed in on the design.
“What did you find?”
“There used to be a bank here way back, they used to use the railroad system for easy transporting. The centre of the hub below ground used to be where the vault was until about three years ago. There should be the entrance to the bank right there.” You looked up and pointed to the now blank wall. He watched as you continued to work on your phone, scouring the web for any information about why it was sealed off.
“Weird.”
“Hm?”
“There was no announcement, one day the transport hub sealed the area off and the next time it was for public view, the bank was gone. Well, I suppose that solves that question. The architecture is all wrong.” Pocketing your cell phone you smiled at the man. “We can go now.” Collinn smiled at your words bud didn’t say anything, content to follow your lead. The pair of you moved throughout the hub until you eventually found your train.
“I wonder why the bank was so suddenly sealed up.” You spoke as the pair of you settled into the cabin. It was a small little cabin, with two beds on each side of it. There was a table in the middle under the window which reflected the mirror on the cabin window. Collinn sat down on the bed, his legs stretched out, pillow behind his back in support. Your bag was locked away and you found your home on the free bed. Time seemed to pass without notice as you continue your search for any information about the bank. A dip in the bed had you shuffle to the side, the space was quickly taken up by your partner. “Find out anything?”
“All official sources say it just closed down due to age, but why would they seal it off.” You hummed as Collinn wrapped an arm around your waist and pulled you against his chest. He looked over your shoulder at your phone. A kiss was placed on the top of your shoulder where your clothes exposed your flesh. “Your so tense.” His voice was quiet in your ear.
“I’m just curious.”
“That, I have noticed. You always were the one to ask a lot of questions.”
“I wouldn’t be this far in life if I didn’t.” He hummed in response to your statement and his hand covered yours. Finger brushing on the power button.
“We’re on holiday, a holiday of your destination request. Take a break and relax darling.” He slipped the phone out of your hand and placed it on the side table much to your whining complaint. “I swear you have no concept of relaxation do you? Find mystery in everything.” Collinn chuckled behind you. “Normally I would enjoy such traits in you but you need to relax, and unclench your jaw. Let your body soften up.” At first, you went to complain but when you felt him bury his face into your neck you couldn't help but let out a sigh. With a deep breath, you relaxed your shoulders against him and let your body detense. “That’s it. That’s a good girl.” His southern accent deep in your ear. “See isn’t that better?”
“I suppose you can be right, just on this occasion.” You hummed and shut your eyes, allowing yourself to enjoy his embrace.
“Now I think I’m right a little bit more often than once don’t you think?” His voice was light, a tease.
“Hmm, I disagree.” He grazed his teeth against your shoulder and you let out a whine.
“I’m right all the time.”
“Well, it’s not hard when you surround yourself with politicians.” He laughed and you could feel his chest shake against your back.
“That sounds like you agree with me, honey.”
“You're lucky that I love you.” You mumbled and he held you a little tighter.
“So lucky, I reckon I’m the darn luckiest man out there.”
“Your not so bad yourself McKinley.” He froze against you.
“No so bad? Not bad? Have you seen this face?” He scoffed and caused you to laugh.
“I don’t think I have, perhaps you should show me.” His grip loosened and you rolled over to look at the man but right as you made eye contact with his light brown eyes, the train jolted causing him to fall against you. He braced himself against the side table and pushed himself back against the wall, your hands sandwiched between the pair of you. “You alright there?”
“Going to have to take a bit more than that to keep me down.” There was a split second before he moved, with a grab of your shoulders he shifted, he pulled you into the middle of the bed and mount himself on your, his body pinning you down.
"What about now honey?" His lips curled upwards in a smirk. Without a word, your hands found the back of his neck and pulled him down against you, his lips pressing against your own. The perfectly trimmed moustache grazed above your upper lip and you couldn't help the mouth that was muffled into his mouth. Once perfectly styled hair was now messy as your hands ran through them, tugging at his locks. Any gap between the pair of you was closed and with one hand still supporting him, he ran a hand on the side of your blouse.
A small pant left your lips as he parted from yours, a messy look above you as he started to pop your buttons. Heat filled your cheeks as your eyes widened a little. "Collinn, this train isn't exactly private." He chuckled and leaned back off upward, examining his work.
"I suppose your right, mayhaps I'll have to do something bout that." He turned just for a moment to pull down the blind on the cabin door before he undid his shirt and threw it onto the empty bed. With an expert hand, he undid the clasp in the middle of your bra, your breasts falling free causing him to hum as he soaked up your body with his eyes. "Now a'nt that just the prettiest view in the whole world." As he knelt, he leaned forward and pawed at your breasts, tugging at the nipples as your mouth quivered open in need. His cock strained in his pants while he rocked slightly against you, his focus on your tits while he continued to grab and feel them up.
"Collinn." His eyes snapped to yours at your voice and he descent down on your, lips on your breast sucking on it while he massaged the other. With a hand now buried in his head, encouraging him, you covered your mouth to prevent the moans that threatened to escape from your mouth. Even if no one could see you, the cabin walls were still extremely thin.
His tongue licked the nipple as he sloppily kissed it. Your hips buckled up and he looked up at you while he continued to trace your nipple with his tongue. A wet spot was left when he parted from you, he leaned back to get access to your pants, pulling them down and discarding them like he had done so many times before. "I think I lied, this has got to be the most beautiful view in the whole wide world." His words had you roll your eyes but you swallowed when he sprung his cock free from his pants and gave it a few lazy pumps.
"Ready darl?" His southern accent was thick and heavy as he weighed his dick on your pussy entrance. A silent nod was the response he needed and you bit down on a knuckle as he slid in with ease. Collinn's eyes fluttered shut as he filled you to the brim, his hand bracing himself on your hip. His lips formed an 'o' shape then retreated then suddenly thrust in. When the bed didn't make a sound and the train continued to run as usual his face lit up. Your hand flew to his wrist and gripped on as he started fucking you into the bed with ease.
His eyes roamed your body and your breast moved around with his constant trust. Each time filling you over and over, spreading pleasure throughout your body as he slipped inside with ease. Little sound but your fast breaths could be heard and yet your pulse raced as he fucked you. Collinn grabbed onto your legs and lift them straight into the air where he balanced them on each side of your head. His hand slapped down over your hand and mouth when he thrust all the way in, desperate not to get caught. Hesitantly, he removed his hand and continued his fucking. His left hand held onto the side of your leg while the other one found your clit and started to rub circles on it. His voice was a husky whisper as he spoke. "Me and you, darling, we going to cum together. You heard me? Gonna make you feel so good." You nodded and your fingers tug into his wrist.
His thrusts started to get sloppy and he rubbed your clit faster until low and behold you came on him, clenching down on his cock while he fucked you through it, sending him into his own oblivion. His eyes squeezed shit and you could feel his hot cum shoot inside of you. With his mouth ajar he slowly let your legs down and pulled his cock from inside of you. His hair was a complete mess as his cock leaked a little and he picked up your panties off the floor. They were the first thing to come back on, stopping the cum from leaking onto your legs when you sat up. A curse left his perfect lips and he tucked himself back in. As you were redressing you received a small ping from your phone.
"I knew that place was weird." Collinn gave you a confused look but his brows raised when he realised you were talking about the bank again. He did up his own shirt and you started to explain. "Three months before the bank was sealed up they had a huge display to show off their security. Long story short a heist was pulled and they lost an estimated fourth million dollars. Can you guess where they had stored all the money?"
"Somewhere secure?"
"In a 'secured' glass vault in the middle of the room."
"So that's why all the cameras were pointing there?"
"Funny enough they took all the money by blowing a hole below the vault in the maintenance area. The whole event was buried as hard as they could."
"How did you find out?" He sat down on the bed opposite you, the smell of sex still lingering in the air.
