Idk how much crossover there is between the two fandoms but I want a Stargate: Atlantis/Wheel of Time AU where Elizabeth is an Aes Sedai and John is her Warder. Like the dynamic just fits

The scene with Sheriam and Alanna, Maxim, and Ihvon is so interesting to me because it’s clear that the bond that the three of them share is unusual for Warders and Aes Sedai (we see that Sheriam leaves her warder behind and disapproves of Alanna’s warders presence). We see that the three of them are of one mind and have clearly been talking about this already. We also have Ihvon and Maxim questioning and interrupting Sheriam (it seems like she does not appreciate it but perhaps sees it as Alanna’s place to decide how her warders speak to another Aes Sedai). The way they talk about the power, the strength of the girls etc, are ways that an Aes Sedai would. Due to their closeness, they are a united front, it almost feels like it is only Alanna speaking (Sheriam notes this by saying ‘in the hall you speak as one, not three’ implying that she believes that Alanna words are coming out of all three mouths) but as we know, Maxim and Ihvon care about Nynaeve in their own right and it is more likely that they developed their arguments together rather than the warders being mouthpieces for Alanna.

It is interesting that the show is showing the audience that the super close Warder/Aes Sedai relationship that Alanna and her warders have and Moiraine and Lan had is not necessarily the norm, or at least that many Aes Sedai do not include Warders in Aes Sedai business unless protection is necessary. We see this through Sheriam excluding her warder and also how Moiraine’s repudiation of Lan trying to find out what she’s up is phrased, she talks about Aes Sedai being allowed to have secrets and you get the sense that Lan having been a partner in everything is unusual for a Warder.

Aaaaaaaaaggggghhhhh I am shattered. Lan and Moiraine reconciliation was absolutely everything I was hoping it could be, at its best. Closer bond than any other indeed--it was fucking palpable.

I tried to look at her ring and we can't see the stone clearly, it's probably brown like in the books, but she is using some kind of binoculars to look at a shirtless warder and is "unequivocally unaffected" that Moraine is not doing well while offering Lan additional healing and Tomas's sex life is her chosen conversion topic...
