Happy birthdayyyy 🥳
Thank youuuu will be thinking about your URL as a bday gift. We gotta get him pregnant
In the 11th inning in yesterday's game against the Boston Red Sox, the Yankees got some really bad calls by the umpires. First, they called Anthony Volpe out when he tried to steal 3rd. It was so close. It looked like a tie to me so it should've gone in the runners favor, but NOOOOOOO.
Next bad call was on DJ Lemahieu, who hit a ball down the first base line, and it was called foul. DJ was vehement in his belief that the ball was not foul. After about 10 minutes of reviewing the play, the umpires called it out. You make the call... what do you think? This ball looks like it's on the line, and the call of foul should've been overturned.
Aaron Boone was so angry about these 2 bad calls that cost us the game that he threw his gum at the umpires and got in their faces.
I respect Aaron Boone for standing up for his players. He made me proud for a change. Boone was thrown out of the game. Then, DJ finishing his at bat and being called out at first, apparently said something about the foul ball call that really upset the umpire at first because he, too, was thrown out of the game. It was quite the brouhaha out there.
Unfortunately, the Yankees lost that game. I'm looking forward to today's game because it's time for my boys to win a game against the Boston Red Sox. I believe. I always believe in my boys.
LET'S GO, YANKEES!!!!!
im in a pickle
*@angelsandemons liked for a starter call !! *
Ford hadn't really known how to respond when he was approached by a multi-dimensional...being? God? The Axolotl was confounding regardless of its origin, and what it came to say was even more so.
It had taken him several hours of processing (and a rather impressive panic attack) to come to terms with the fact the Bill Cipher was apparently not dead and gone, but once he had it was obvious he needed to take the trip the frilly entity offered to this 'Theraprism'. He had no interest in why Bill had asked for him, or for any sort of making amends. However, he needed to reassure himself that the demon was actually trapped there. And if he was honest with himself, there was a little bit of petty elation in seeing his greatest enemy brought to such a state.
Now he's sitting in an uncomfortable chair, hand cradled around a surprisingly human looking telephone receiver as he peers through the visitation glass. He keeps his expression placid, determined to keep this civil and short.
"You have five minutes."
