I had an epiphany
S1: Not many Byler scenes because Will is missing but we are showed that their friendship is special.
S2: Absolute peak Byler, Miwi is so sweet, always there for each other.
S3: Things are starting to go south between them, their first fight (but still tons of queer allusions).
S4: Another peak Byler, the van scene, another queer fight, literally everything about them is queercoded this season
S5: (fake, but still painful) queerbait, they might seems to be at their peak in volume 1, but then everything seems to go downhill. Still queercoded as hell, but almost constantly separated.
As you can see, every other season (the even ones) is peak Byler. In a way, the new episodes can be treated like season 6 (and 6 is an even number, and even if it's not s6, it's vol4, and 4 is an even number too). This means that the new episodes will once again be the absolute peak of Byler and it will be the very peak, it would be impossible to go any further because it will be Byler endgame
