This is a Jayvik meets Pride and Prejudice AU featuring clockmaker Viktor and season 2 Jayce (iykyk). This fic does a fantastic job of being its own creative story with little nods towards Arcane and P&P that just are 👌 ☕️.

I really enjoyed working on this bind - until the end lol. This HTV decided it was going to really test me but we made it to the other side. My most favorite part was changing all the city names to be Runeterra locations. I adore this cover and the fancy gilded edges and hand sewn headbands just go so well. Bookmark gear cause it’s like a clock but also The gear?!

i'm losing it at the club because you wrote ben/jaime like. you've written some of my favorite xedgin things, i'm so mad it took me over a week to see this and i'm so stoked to dig into this like hot damn i cannot wait.

AAAAAAAHHHHHH I'm sorry I get SO excited whenever I learn someone else ships my silly little rarepair and I didn't have to lure them into it (or, in the case of some of my friends, drag them in kicking and screaming). I'M SO GLAD YOU'RE EXCITED.

Summary:

“No. Nope. Not happening,” Scott grumbles, staring pointedly at a point behind the vidcomm.

Reyes—or at least, the digital representation of him—crosses his arms and lifts a single eyebrow. “Ryder,” he says, “do you want my information or not?” He sounds so calm, so relaxed, so… frustratingly benign.

He’s not. He lied once. He’ll lie again. Still refusing to look Reyes in the eye, Scott replies, “Information, yes. You on my ship? No.”

Pathfinder Scott Ryder sided with the Charlatan on Kadara, but he wasn't happy about it. A year later, they have a second chance.

Reyes makes a soft, disappointed sound. “I’m afraid it’s a package deal, my friend.”

“We’re not friends.”

“No?”

Scott glances back at the vidcomm, and scowls. “No.”

Reyes shrugs, and offers up a mild, disarming smile. “So be it. Good luck, Ryder—and if you change your mind, you know where to find me.”

The vidcomm disconnects, and Scott groans. They need that information. The exile attacks on Voeld and Eos are rapidly going from an annoyance to a serious problem—and one laid squarely on his shoulders. The Nexus had little information to share, and the colonists at both outposts had been more interested in defending themselves than in figuring out where the exiles were operating out of and why.
