We had a Waldo, a T-Rex, a very realistic bear- and were coached by our very own Tiger-corn, @frozen.zebra ! ❄️ 🐅 🦄 🐻 🦖 ⛸ My Paul Bunyan costume features a handmade, button-down, buffalo check jersey (I drafted that stand collar by eye! ❤️🖤), hiking boot skate covers w/ real metal grommets, a hand knit hat to cover my helmet and a lush and luxurious beard 🧔. Babe the Big Blue Ox was my linemate, OBVS. Thank you @thenovl for sending me an arc of this amazing story! There is a quote in the book where Jo says to Kurl, “You undid me.” And that’s what this book did to me - it undid me. Kurl and Jo are two teens assigned as semester-long pen pals in English class. Watching these two boys reveal their vulnerabilities to each other inch by inch until they became unlikely friends and then to lovers made my heart feel like bursting. It was just so beautiful. You felt it in your bones that these two had a deep soul connection. The romance was just heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. I still need to write my review but I haven’t processed all my thoughts and feelings yet.⠀ .⠀ ✉️ I don’t know why but it’s always harder for me to write a review the more I love it. And I loved We Contain Multitudes so much. Honestly, it might be my favorite book I’ve read this year. 🙀 Something about it really moved me. Have you guys read We Contain Multitudes yet? I recieved this arc from PRHC Canada at their recent teen event and I'm so happy about it. This book feels so real and that's probably the best thing about it. Also the writing was so so beautiful!
