Hello! I don't know if you're taking prompts anymore but could you write something for Matthew & Marcus? Hurt/comfort or fluffly interaction for this father/son duo? Thank you !
Wedding Jitters!
"Should have eloped," Gallowglass commented from where he was lounging, watching his younger cousin pace up and down. Matthew glared at his nephew.
Marcus and Phoebe's wedding was a lavish affair - Miriam and Ysabeau had insured it so. And Marcus is panicking, perhaps due to the enormity of it all.
"Gallowglass, shut up, give him your flask," Matthew ordered briskly and he did as instructed with an eye roll. Marcus swallowed the whisky quickly.
Marcus was pacing, "We should have eloped? Why did I do this? I cannot stand up in front of half the bloody continent-"
"You do not wish to marry Phoebe?" Matthew challenged.
Marcus looks at him as if he just told him he was dying, "What, of course, I want to marry Phoebe. Are you saying I shouldn't marry Phoebe?" He accused.
"I want you to marry Phoebe," Matthew replied, holding up his hands to demonstrate he meant no harm as he approached him.
"Marcus?" Matthew held his shoulders, "Take a breath." Marcus does as instructed, breathing in and out, "Now, what is the matter?"
"What if she realises, I am not what she wants?" Marcus asked, "She realises that... she could better?"
Matthew sighed, "Well, firstly, you are an exemplary young man. I couldn't be prouder and well, she spent time with members of this family. She's still here. Surely, someone as forthright as Phoebe would have called off the thing months ago, if she did not think you worth it." He and Phoebe may not have gotten along at first but he knew her fierceness came from her love for his son, something he wanted for Marcus.
"How do we know Miriam isn't helping her leg it?" Marcus asked.
Matthew chuckled, "Miriam would speak to me first, to resolve any issues. We want to see this through. And Phoebe loves you and you love her. I may not be an expert in you, but I can certainly see how much you love her."
"I do," Marcus confirmed.
"Just tell her that. Ignore all of us as you usually, focus on your bride." Matthew instructed with a small smile, "You deserve this. You have always deserved this."
Freyja comes in without knocking, looking annoyed with her brother and nephew, "We are two minutes behind schedule! Which one of you wants to tell Miriam you have thrown off her timing?"
"Neither. We are coming," Matthew assured his sister, "You look lovely sister."
"And you look tolerable, brother," Freyja replied snarkily.
"Do the two of you mind not doing this now?" Marcus interrupted, as entertaining as he usually found their arguments. He pulled on his wedding coat and smiled at his father, "I am getting married."
Wedding Jitters
Here’s a short one shot au about Eugene getting wedding jitters and his mom comes to comfort him:
“It sneaks up on me like a coeurl cub!” Lain threw his arms up in the air dramatically, tufted ears wiggling before he started pacing back and forth again. His dog-like tail was lashing at the air with each turn, while his bare feet threatened to wear away at the wooden flooring beneath him. His arms were crossed over his chest, then hung loosely at his sides, then went up so his hands were behind his neck only to be shifted again for his rather animated gestures. Even his cerulean feather was a persistent chime from how often he moved while his amethyst gaze roamed around the room without focusing on anything in particular. “One moment I’m at the market and thinking of buying some fish, but then I worry that I shouldn’t be spending my gil again on food. I should be saving it for things. I don’t know what things, but just that what if the house burns down again! Or she needs something in an emergency and we can’t get it because all the gil is gone. Or worse, what if I buy the wrong fish! “The other day I bought us a few sandwiches and returned home and she said that she liked them. She even smiled and I could see her beret wiggle from her ears, and that always kind of gets me because she’s… so… adorable? Er, but anyway that’s not the point! The point is, what if she only says she likes it when she really didn’t like it? You know, because she’s the nicest person I’ve ever met in my entire life. What if she doesn’t actually like keeping so much hot chocolate in the house? Or where I put the sheep’s rug? Or doesn’t want me to hunt or bring back so much Zu!? “I feel a little agitated with myself, because I’ve never worried about any of this before, but lately it just keeps popping up in my head. I’ve even felt it on our adventures, except I was worried about something happening to her. I mean, I’m always concerned for her safety but the adventuring parts are exciting! She and I are a great team and she’s one of the strongest people I know! So usually I only worry if I’m not around or something bad happens. But it’s all the time lately. What if she gets hurt because I’m too slow? Or she reads a bad book that tries to eat her?! What if I poison her with my campfire cooking or what if she gets bored because I’m not as smart or worse, finds someone else w-” “Lain.” Vincint barked from the couch, forcing his younger brother to stop his rambling monologue. He was laying on the couch with his hands tucked behind his head for a pillow while watching his brother carve a path on the floor. He sighed and wrinkled his nose, “It’s okay to be nervous about the bonding. I think that’s kinda normal.” “Bonding? I didn’t say anything about that… did I? I’m not… I just…” Lain stumbled over his words, pausing his footsteps to frown in thought. “You didn’t have to say it. Relax. You’re gonna be fine and it’ll all work out. Both of you make me want to vomit up rainbows half the time, so that’s gotta count for something, right? The shroom and you are... good. Together. Don’t tell her I said that.” Lain bit his lower lip and then looked up to Vincint, hesitating before he forced himself to inhale a deep breath. He then firmly nodded, brow scrunching together as he pumped a fist in front of him. “Yes. It’ll be fine, you’re right. You’re always right. Thanks.” He then smiled at his brother, who quickly held up a hand in protest. Vin saw his brother’s tail begin to twitch and that was the only dooming sign he needed in order to know what was coming next. “No for f-” Unfortunately Vincint didn’t protest in time as C’laihn pounced on his brother for a happy, celebratory hug.

Wedding Jitters
Part two!
Draco's life was a bit of a mess, a really big mess.
After some incidents (which we will not talk about), he had a young child. He raised him pretty much on his own. Half the time he had no idea what he was doing, just doing it. He kept moving even though the world around him had seemed to slow.
He held a stable job and raised his son, he spent most of his time doing those two things.
Draco was gay, most people could look at him and could tell.
But he, himself, had just came to this realization a couple years ago when he had been paired with a guy named Atuo on particularly tricky case.
They had become very close because of all the long hours they both put in.
One night, a very, very late night, they were talking and laughing, and the next things that happened were all jumbled. Draco remembers being thrown against the wall and being kissed deeply.
He remembers melting into him, the way Atuo held his waist so gently, the way his body was like a strong rock to hold him up.
The moment was ruined when Atou pulled away and Draco saw his face.
Atou ran out of the building and that was the last time Draco saw him.
Draco kept telling himself that the reason he wasn't pursuing love was because he was too busy with life, but he knew deep down that he was afraid to let someone in so they could do the same as Atou.
His life was full of these meaningless lies.
He sat thinking of all the ways his life was going to hell. Of all the screw ups, the one thing that was not on that list was Scorpius.
Draco took a deep breath, taking in the sweet summer air floating through the open window, trying to shake the thoughts that stuck like glue to the inside of his head.
He heard the flapping of an owl through his window before he saw the homly thing.
He thought it queer that someone would send him a letter this late in the evening, but- it could always be work.
The dark brown owl with crossed eyes flew through his window dropping the letter in his lap, perching on the top of Draco's arm chair.
Draco sighed, a deep breath that was meant to calm his nerves (though it didn't really help ).
He opened the letter recognizing the scrawl immediately. It was Harry. Draco rubbed his temples.
His feelings were slowing morphing into something more for the one and only Harry Potter.
There were three big reasons why Draco couldn't have him.
He was getting married tommrow
He was Harry Bloody Potter
He was very, very straight.
Draco read through the contents his hope rasing with each word.
'Dear Draco,' it read.
'I'm sorry for sending this so late, it's just, I have no-one else to talk to and I need help, big help.
I don't want to get married, I think I'm having wedding jitters.
Please help!
H. P'
That was all.
Harry Potter wanted Draco's help? Draco opened his desk drawer pulling out a piece of parchment.
'Dear Harry,' he wrote.
' Question one, when did you learn to write a proper letter?
Question two, why would you ask someone who isn't married, had a kid with a girl he barely knew, and again... Isn't married?
But if you, the great Harry Potter, want the advice of, the great advice giver, I will help.
D. M'
He smiled while signing his name, rolling the letter up, tying it all together with a green ribbon.
He gave the small owl a pat on the head, giving the letter to it, watching it fly out the window.
Now he didn't know if Harry was going to break his heart, but, he was willing to give it a try.
gotta love when your mind is wide awake and won’t let you sleep /)___(\
My brain is in a conspiracy against me. It's 4:26am, I haven't slept yet, and it's obsessing over inconsequential details of the wedding.
