This one is for my Killing Me Slowly fans!

In chapter 15 of Killing Me Slowly, on the night of a ball Prince Charles throws for Rapunzel (in which general chaos ensues), you may remember that Eugene coaxes her out into the garden and asks her to run away with him. She immediately refuses — a strong duty to her parents and kingdom getting in the way of her heart — and the story unfolds as we know it.

But what if she said yes? What if she did run away with him, and what if they started a life somewhere new, free from Charles forever? What if Charles never got the chance to take her at all?

And what if Eugene reverted back to a life of crime in order to provide for Rapunzel in the only way he knows how so she can be free from Charles?

thank you, nonny. it's been a tough year since i lost my 4 year old in 2025 and miscarried at the same time AND had a cancer scare that prevented me from getting pregnant for awhile. but i am currently almost 12 weeks pregnant with our rainbow baby and the year of healing really helped me. just taking it a day at a time and living life to the fullest and living my life in a way that makes my kiddo (both future and in heaven) proud. 💕
