Park your car at the end of the parking lot, you get 1 point! Go for a 10-min power walk, you get 4 points!! Aim for 15+ points per day! 3. HAVE FUN WITH IT! Do something that brings you joy. Want to dance? Do Zumba? Enjoy walking? Whatever gets your body moving, make it fun and enjoyable! It's not only training your body but also training your brain to get and stay active. This will ensure you do it again and again, and again. 4. CREATE A ROUTINE FOR PHYSICAL ACTIVITY! The more you move, the more you'll be motivated to move. It's ALWAYS difficult to "get started" and once you get started, it becomes easier. This helps you to build momentum and your routine!! You can do this! 5. REWARD YOURSELF! After each exercise session, take a few minutes to savor the good feelings that exercise gives you. This type of internal reward can help you make a long-term commitment to regular exercise.
