I agree that most supps are overrated & most tend to give us more psychological benefit than physical. I’m actually posting the start of an supplement article series tonight that has my take on the use of supps & next 1 will explain 5 I feel are good

I think eating clean will ultimately do more good than harm. I’ve been eating clean for a year now, and it has made me more of an efficient person in all areas of my life. In my opinion, if you cater to your food diet, you don’t need supplements.

Awesome post especially explaining the sweeteners. So many people don’t understand what actually goes on in your body

I’ve put my pre workout aside because I found that once I stopped I lost strength gains. As for the insulin spike, I switched to honey :)
Thanks for the replies guys!
@ Warrior-Fitness - Can't wait to read em! I agree there are supps out there that actually work, but others are definitely all hype.
@ Strongaly - I agree, I'll see how things work out the next couple months, it'll probably take up to 6 months or so to get rid of enough chemicals in my body given their half-lives. Eating clean is definitely pretty awesome
@Weightsnscales - Oh yea, I can't stand the advertisements promoting artificial sweeteners. I wish people would just understand that natural sucrose is needed by the body. And the same with me regarding the pre-workouts, I want to see how much natural and "real" strength I can develop
