Baltimore Area Cadillac Dealers launch "Power On!" Event

Baltimore Area Cadillac Dealers partnered with CBS EcoMedia Inc. through its WellnessAd advertising to fund 17 Starlight Tablets for two Baltimore-area hospitals, University of Maryland Children’s Hospital and the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center. A ceremonial “Power On!” event kicked off the program with a luncheon held at the beautiful Rusty Scupper overlooking the harbor. Cadillac Dealer’s support delivered five Starlight Tablets to the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center and 12 Starlight Tablets to the University of Maryland Children’s Hospital. Combined, the 17 Starlight Tablets will serve more than 8,200 pediatric patients per year. Prior to the “Power On!” celebration at The Rusty Scupper, Cadillac Dealers along with Starlight representatives toured the University of Maryland Children's Hospital to see the impact of the Starlight Tablets on pediatric patients and their families, and how Starlight Children’s Foundation is helping to improve the life and health of kids and families in the Baltimore area.

We had another great project event in Detroit today with our wonderful WellnessAd advertising partner, Bob Evans Restaurants who not only funded improvements at the Capuchin Soup Kitchen and the Earthworks Urban Farm, but also spent this morning volunteering at the Farm to help get it ready for the fall season.
