Centuries, and I mean centuries, of attacks on the language (and so also culture) as a way of subjugating and forcing assimilation of a nation of people means that the Welsh language is still derided publicly by national newspapers. Yay.

Will hazard a guess that 'Megan' doesn't exist and that the author just looked up the word 'English' in a dictionary because that annecdotal evidence is horseshit.

"Weaponised" as a term to describe a language is fucking laughable.

And any language you don't speak is "impenetrable" until you learn it you useless sack of potatoes.
