Jack never really liked snow, whether its because they lived in Jasper and it rarely ever snows so he found no interest about it. Or he doesn't like the season.

But after becoming a phoenix. He grows to hate it with a PASSION

Being a bird of fire in a place of cole never mixed well, so if it were to snow one day where Jack is, the snow would feel uncomfortable in a literal burning sense despite him being a fire bird. Miko likes snow, Raf LOVES snow, hell even Jane and June like snow. June likes to make snowmen while Jane takes the opportunity to throw snowballs at passing people, cars and people on bikes.

But Jack will just HATE IT. he is literally the vine of the child crying when his mom asks if he likes the snow. Thats how bad, he just stands awkwardly while the others play or stay inside with Arcee, who also holds a grudge against the cold after way back in the scraplet episode

(Cody also likes snow when Miko brings him to a snowy location for them to play around in their entity forms, they like to make snow forts)

Finally finished the full reference sheets for each of the children’s creature designs! Along with added details for their mortal wound scars (funny how they all technically died from head wounds, so those scars remain)

Ngl Jack’s design ain’t really the best, but I haven’t drawn birds in a while so it’s bound to be bad- I literally felt nothing but pain while trying to complete his reference sheet.

Personally very excited to write the chapter of Miko and Ratchet's proper reunion (with her NOT dead). With Ideas sprouting from my mind each second.

Little spoilers for possible ideas in the next couple chapters here- but you know how in Harry Potter, that phoenix's have healing tears? Maybe that will help with something 🤔 😀
