#Repost @justatipsytourist ・・・ Ladies and gentlemen...pumpkin number 5! I would apologize for spamming you all with pumpkin beers, but its spooky season sooo...sorry not sorry? This imperial pumpkin from @weyerbacher_brewing is nicely spiced and balanced and honestly better than actual pumpkin pie. 🎃🍺🃏 . . . . #weyerbacher #weyerbacherbrewing #imperialpumpkinale #pumpkinbeerseason #stillbasic #sorrynotsorry #betterthanpumpkinpie #beergirl #beerstagram #beerlover #craftbeergirl #craftbeersnob #craftnotcrap #girlswhodrinkbeer #beerselfie #instabeer https://www.instagram.com/p/B4FrdCdnjyO/?igshid=d6lghagfa44l
Found my new favorite beer.
Sunday Mole Stout (Weyerbacher)
Brewery : Weyerbacher Beer : Sunday Mole Stout Style : Imperial Stout Variance : Brewed with Coffee, Cocoa, Cinnamon, and Peppers
9 / 10
HOLY MOLE! Just so we’re clear, I literally moaned in agony when I typed that out but if I didn’t do it I feel like I’d be letting you readers down. Sunday Morning Stout is Weyerbacher’s claim to fame and I had the pleasure of tasting a few variants of it straight from the source with one of my buddies and I’m psyched that this one ended up making it to bottles. I am in love with these mole inspired stouts and I definitely need to get my hands on more to properly judge them and by that I mean I’m full of shit and just want to drink more delicious beer so let’s get right into this one. A rich dark chocolate flavor starts this one off with a pretty decent bitterness before some coffee and smoke and campfire join in bringing even more of that roast-y bitterness with it before ending with a nice cinnamon spice and mild pepper heat to wrap things up. Even though this beer isn’t bourbon barrel aged like it’s big brother, it’s amazing additions really help you forget all about that just like Donald Trump forget’s about his daughter Tiffany on a daily basis. That’s probably because he only wants to fuck Ivanka but that’s neither here nor there. Also, I’ve always wanted to use the expression “neither here nor there” because I’m secretively a 60 year old man on the inside so mission accomplished. If you think for one second that this might not be a good beer to pick up for you, you are out of your fucking mind because this beer is damn delicious and really needs to slide down your throat faster than a fat kid on a water slide. I was going to split up who this stout would be good for but honestly it kicks ass for any level of drinker due to it’s massive flavor and almost completely hidden alcohol content (11.3% ABV). Mole, mole, mole, mole, feeling hot hot hot!

Weyerbacher’s Sunday Mole Stout (Picked up at Capone’s in Norristown, PA). A 3 of 4. Lots of complexity here, but subtle. Mostly vegetal qualities from the peppers without any heat, and a nice chocolatey sweet background in the body. Some bitter roast qualities and relatively thick on the body. Nicely drinkable -- if you’re a fan of big stouts with additions, this will do well -- and unlike many others, won’t light your mouth on fire with spice.
