By the time Link awoke, a crescent moon had already risen above the tree tops, and what once had been the warm embrace of the setting sun had turned into the chill of night. The air was thick with a lingering smog that weighed down his movements and clouded his thoughts. It felt as if he was dragging his arms through mud as he pushed himself into a sitting position, the throbbing pain in his head returning to him as the darkness cleared from his eyes.

Basically at the stage where I'm writing bullshit until it does something. I don't even have an AO3 account yet.... :^D

honestly this one is really more of an outline. and. it’s angsty. it’s angst with a happy ending because i apparently don’t know how to write anything else :)

i’ll give you a quick lil bit of the plot but you should probably know now before i go into it that i don’t have too much of the plot worked out to be anything other than a hc right now, and if it Were to be a fic, it’d probably be a short one even if i do add onto it

nevertheless, here’s a bit of what i’ve worked out so far:

so basically, jurdan gets into a fight right off the bat (or maybe that’s how it starts off, in the middle of the fight? not sure — haven’t got there). jude gets hurt somehow and it’s entirely on accident but cardan takes some kind of personal blame because well, :). anyways, he’s mad at himself for her getting hurt and things,,, escalate (:

Me: okay maybe instead of focusing on your characters being gay and not cis you should actually write a story for them to exist in—

Also me: this character lives in the woods with her traveling band of like 8 people and they’re all dating each other and she’s got a best friend who’s ace and an older sister who’s a big ol’ lesbian whose wife’s best friend is a trans guy and gay. Gay. Everyone is gay. Magical and gay that’s what this world is
