This is my life's journey filled with ups and downs since 2012. When the scale was at the lowest point, my bloodwork revealed that it may belong to a much younger person. The nurse seriously asked me whose results we were looking at. From then I stopped living my new lifestyle of clean eating and physical activity. I started a new lifestyle program and one of the questions was "How much weight do you want to lose?" The answer? I left it blank because there is NOT a number. I want to be healthy. I want to have energy. I want to be active. I want to live to 100. I can't do that if I'm not the other 3. With my history of eating disorders, I stay focussed on what I feel like as opposed to what I look like when determining success because I don't want to get back into those thinking patterns. I don't call the changes a "diet" simply because there are too many ideations around that word. But this is a lifestyle that works for me. My body has been lacking nutrients ... garbage in, garbage out. And a big sign was the psoriasis in the back of my head. I started taking vitamins and changing the nutrients in my body on Saturday AND low and behold the psoriasis patch that I've been trying to treat using, you name it, it almost all clear. It's ONLY been 3 days of giving my body more nutrients. I'm only making gradual changes which means it may be a longer process for me than some, but I want to make this a LIFESTYLE CHANGE. The decline happened over 8 months and the incline happened over 2-1/2 years.
