thinking about it, it’s pretty wild that Rick was willing to die with that secret on the Citadel. the secret being who mortys original Rick was, of course. mostly bc there was no way Rick didn’t have an opportunity to spill it.

I am CERTAIN Rick and morty had to have had a conversation of sorts offscreen concerning, well, ricks everything really. I mean, they were there long enough to get to the brink of starvation while all other Mortys went feral, so. ricks a master at evading emotional conversations, but I can imagine it’s significantly more difficult to be so when you have literally nowhere to run. logically, I know it’s for the sake of the plot(a revelation like that really can’t happen offscreen, I get that much) but I can’t help but wonder how rick as a character would come about that decision. did he just figure it wasn’t significant? did he figure it was too significant, and might affect morty badly when they were already in a shitty situation?
