Found an absolutely beautiful white (delta?) female betta at our local pet store, and immediately snatched her up. I remember when you couldn’t even find white bettas in the US, and now they’re at the place we buy our cat food. They also had a couple knockout koi plakats, but I need to exercise some self control. Can’t just....cover every surface in the house with a planted aquarium.

She’s chilling in quarantine right now till I figure out permanent accommodations. She’d be happy in the Lazy River tank, but that’s Lemon’s house now that he’s back inside for the colder months.

My sick little man finally passed away last night. He had been fighting an infection that no longer responded to treatment. On top of that he had lost his sense of balance months ago. Swim in peace Prince ♡♡♡

Meet my white opal dumbo betta, Entienne! I slaved over his name, but I thought it suited him.

He wasn’t expensive(I won’t say how much he was) but definitely not what I’d pay for each betta. He was a splurge, and I’m so happy I got him. He’s quite timid, but so curious and sweet already. And one of his dumbo fins is bigger than the other! So cute ❤️❤️
