Did you know that Lowell George was originally in Frank Zappa’s band? And that, George originally wrote ‘Willin’’ to show to Zappa: who liked the song, but was anti drugs and alcohol. He suggested that George form his own band, not out of spite, but so that he could express what he wanted vocally and lyrically with artistic freedom. So, George did, and this was how Little Feat were formed.
