Anyone else having problems with their sound after being forced to go through the newest WIndows 10 update???????
anyone else dealing with this bs
not sure if it is related, but my surface pro tablet was effected by the windows 10 update [the one that messed up scrolling]. i just use the surface directly, no wacom, and i use photoshop cc 2018. i was able to fix the previous issue with the command prompt. i didn’t notice this new issue til yesterday, but i am guessing it’s been going on since i fixed the previous problem [before yesterday, i was finishing colouring stuff i’d already inked, so i didn’t really notice anything besides maybe a little lag???]
there seems to be no rhyme or reason to when it decides to do a wonky line, but it behaves like lag. my tablet doesn’t show any stress in the process, tho, so idk what the heck is going on. guess i am back to paper til it’s figured out e_e
I finally revved up the courage (and inspiration) I needed in order to write the next chapter of Lover’s Lament, and it was working well! It was flowing great, the events were lining up in a way that I liked, it was all going good.
...And then the Windows 10 update hit, and then for some reason, the file is now corrupted. Literally *everything else* that I have checked is fine, all the prior chapters as well as all my other writing is fine, but this one fucking file is nothing but a bunch of ###’s and I know I saved it before shutting off my laptop for the night. I opened it up this morning to a black screen and one corrupted document. I haven’t even checked my games or other programs yet, but those could be hecked up too (artistic friends have tablets that no longer work thanks to the recent W10 update, a couple of my favorite youtubers have stated that their recording and sound software no longer work because of the update, my friends who PC game have also said that some of their games don’t work anymore).
I’m mad and salty.
Malty, if you will.
WTf Windows?
Ok, so the new Windows 10 update seriously messed up my tablet pen. So I spent over an hour looking for a solution and unticked the ‘Use Windows Ink’ box on my tablet only to find that now my eraser wasn’t working.
I spent another hour looking for a solution AND NOW I’M JUST PISSED!
Every fix I find I can’t do for some reason! The files I need to find aren’t there? Plus most are having a pen pressure problem but mines fine- I just can’t use the eraser after undoing the stupid update!
I have work to do damn it I don’t have time for this! Which genius thought that final hand-in season was a great time for a system update! My work is going to take so much longer with this I want to scream!
Right. I’m going to have a snack and chill out. I can work this out later.
When I find out who did this I’m sending them a glitter bomb.
The Register reported that Microsoft have been patching out security bugs in Windows 10 but NOT rolling those out to Windows 7 and 8 users...
M$ W10 update cumming your way.
That’s right, Microsoft is about to jiz all over your computer. This update takes for ever, and it’s F’d up. When it finally finished, and I went to log in, it black screened. Turning it off and on does nothing. Disconnecting power/unplugging, and then plugging it back in got mine to boot up properly. Next problem: The update killed my sound. Fortunately having experienced this issue before, I knew what to do. No, don’t call M$ they don’t have a clue. What is required is to go find the drivers, and manually reload the sound driver. I’ve a HP, pleas share this with anyone with an HP, or who has experienced the same problem. Also this update takes a long F’ing time. A long long long F’ing time, and then you’ll have to put everything back to the way you like it.
