My peyote cacti in their new pots. I had put them in cacti soil i bought from the garden centre but as it isn’t in the interest of the garden centres if you succeed in keeping your cacti alive for ever and ever the soil was shit. It was pure peat and it formed a solid block around the plants. So, i planted them in a mix of that shit soil and coarse sand, around a 50/50 or even 70(sand)/50 mix, in which they should do better.

Better mix your own than buy your own i think.
