Since I kept talking about them, I drew the pixies! My Chatta looks pretty different from canon because I wanted her to look less like Stella lol
Btw all of their titles are jokes/references
Minor headcanons:
Amore is an adult, Tune is a young adult, Chatta is a teenager, and Piff and Lockette are preteens. Pixies don't really have ages like humans, but this is like the equivalent
Chatta is the only one of the rescued pixies that I can see staying around the winx after s2, Piff obviously also staying. She doesn't bond with any of them in particular, though. She also hangs out with the winx the most during s2. She keeps asking people about their personal problems in the charmix season lmao
Amore works just below Queen Ninfea, as she can't leave Pixie Village, and is kind of a temporary guide for the winx during the codex stuff before returning back to pixie village. She also guides the winx to getting the Aether transformation, when that happens bc she likes them
Aisha has chronic night terrors, and when she was a child, her family took her to Pixie Village to hopefully find a pixie that could help her. That was Piff! Piff was a baby and Aisha a child when they met, but they've been together for a while so Piff grew up
Piff doesn't talk. She physically could if she wanted to. She just doesn't like talking
Lockette works with Amore and is training to become better at magic. They seem to have a very maternal bond, but neither of them understand bio creatures' concepts of family. They're mentor and student to them
Magic Winx PreCure
I turned the Winx Club and their Pixies into International PreCure and Blue Sky Kingdom fairies! (Sorry I excluded Roxy, I consider her only an honorary member because she has little relevance past season 4 and she doesn't even have a bonded Pixie. Honestly, Roxy should've been part of a new generation of the Winx Club, but I digress.)
PreCure images were made using this character creator: https://www.dolldivine.com/classic-games/happiness-charge. Other images were found online.
For comparison: (I used pink for Aisha's background because I already used teal for Stella)
The locations of their bags reference their Charmix bags:
Pixies:
I also gave them new/altered backstories for fun:
"Spreading our wings and flying together! Magic Winx PreCure!" A PreCure team active in Gardenia, California. For the longest time, the PreCure of Gardenia were friendly with each other but did not team up. However, they are now united under their leader, Cure Fiamma. --- Apparently Gardenia is located in California?
"The fire that burns with a dragon’s strength! Cure Fiamma!" Civilian name: Bloom Peters. An aspiring fashion designer and a big fan of the PreCure. One day, during a walk, she got caught up in a battle between a Saiark and a PreCure, who was on the verge of losing. Despite being afraid, Bloom wanted to help, and that strong desire turned her into a PreCure. --- Bloom's last name in production (and later in Fate) was Peters. --- The PreCure Bloom saved was Stella, AKA Cure Del Sol.
"The eternal light of the shining sky! Cure Del Sol!" Civilian name: Stella Dias. The sole heiress to Solaria Inc., an affluent renewable energy company based in Gardenia famous for advances in solar energy. Stella was the newest PreCure to Gardenia prior to Bloom. Despite her potential, she sometimes struggled against the Saiarks due to overconfidence and had to be saved by the others. While Stella was grateful for their help, her pride got the better of her and she wanted to be strong enough to reliably win on her own, which is why she didn’t team up with anyone prior to Bloom. --- Stella's last name is based on her inspiration, Cameron Diaz. Also, in Spanish, "días" means "days."
"The flower blooming in the flourishing forest! Cure Verdant!" Civilian name: Flora Ortega. Flora’s family runs a garden center in Gardenia called Brillante Gardens. Because Flora is so shy, she was too timid to ask others for an official team up, but was strong enough to stand on her own. Flora was the first PreCure to join the Magic Winx team after Bloom and Stella founded the team. --- Ortega is a Spanish surname that means "nettle."
"The ballad of courage that resonates in the soul! Cure Song!" Civilian name: Musa Chen. Her backstory is the same as in canon, except she’s on Earth. After giving up his music career, her father had to work multiple jobs to make ends meet. Due to her loner nature, she was a bit cagey and thought she needed to stand on her own. Her fighting style back then was a bit reckless, and she sometimes needed Flora or Tecna to bail her out, but she did consistently win on her own. Musa joined the Magic Winx team after Flora. --- The character for Musa's last name is 陈, meaning “to exhibit" or "to display..”
"The intellect that rises to every challenge! Cure Technology!" Civilian name: Tecna Miller. Tecna’s parents are computer engineers, and Tecna was a prodigy. Due to growing up mostly around machines, Tecna struggled with showing emotion and social interaction, which concerned her parents. While she was not against temporary team-ups for efficiency, she felt that working together long-term was unfavorable due to the irrationality of emotions. Eventually, as the Magic Winx team kept getting stronger, she decided that there was something they had worth learning and requested to join, thus being the only member to join by request rather than invite. She joined after Musa. --- A miller is someone who works at a mill, which is a type of factory. Miller is a last name of primarily English and Scottish origin.
"The flowing waters from the ocean of wishes! Cure Morph!" Civilian name: Aisha Layla Morphis (Aisha Murray when on Earth). Unlike the other girls, Aisha comes from the Blue Sky Kingdom and is the eldest daughter of the Duke of Hydros, a duchy by the ocean. Her backstory is similar to canon where she grew up very isolated, with her only friends being the fairies in Hydros Fairy Village, hidden in a nearby forest. When the Phantom Empire was first released, Aisha became a PreCure to protect her home, and Hydros became the Blue Sky Kingdom’s last holdout for years. However, when Hydros Fairy Village was discovered, the Phantom Empire launched an all-out attack, forcing Aisha to escape to Gardenia with the few fairies who weren’t captured, where she was found by the Magic Winx team and invited to join. Aisha joined after Tecna, and lives with Stella because Stella's family is rich enough to host her. --- In this backstory, Layla is Aisha's middle name. Morphis is a reference to Morphix. Murray means "settlement by the sea." --- Hydros is a fanmade concept for this AU.
Fairies: Lockette, Amore, Chatta, Tune, Digit, and Piff are partnered with their respective Winx members. Each carries an individual PreCard File, but all the girls share their PreCards if the situation calls for it. It's implied that the fairies of Happiness Charge PreCure can possess some magical ability, as shown in episode 6, where Ribbon creates a magical shield, so I'm giving each fairy a different ability. --- Lockette has the ability to create portals and teleport things and people, but this heavily exhausts her and requires a lot of rest before she can create another one. The bigger the portal and the farther it goes, the more stress it puts on her. --- Amore has the ability to compel people to confess their love towards others. This works best with romantic love, but can be used for platonic or familial love, though it's easier to resist if used for that. This ability does not work at all if the target has no love for the person Amore is trying to get them to confess to. --- Chatta has the ability to temporarily heighten her hearing to gather information. She also has the innate ability to understand any human language. --- Tune has the ability to force someone to temporarily listen to her and do as she says. However, this ability is very limited, and can really only be used to make a target do small actions, like fixing their posture or lowering their voice. --- Digit has the ability to temporarily enter electronics to control them. If the electronic has security features, Digit will need to hack into the device before she can control it. The longer it takes to hack into the device, and the longer she stays in it, the more stress is put on her body. --- Piff has the power to make whoever she's sleeping on have good dreams and a restful sleep. Like in canon, Piff is a baby and can't speak properly, requiring Digit or Chatta to translate her babble.

CHAPTER 41: Brought into light
Summary:
The battle was over and finally it was time to return home. They barely passed through a portal when the first questions began to arise. Silence and excuses make for one terrible company but at least they are not monks of Light Rock whose arrival only added to the trouble.
I like piff's (Layla's pixie) original design so much more than the updated one.
Ranking the Bonded Pixies
To start off I'm going to be honest: I'm not the biggest fan of the pixies. The way they were suddenly integrated into everything in S2 after they were never even mentioned in S1 was just a little bit too much. I do like the way they're integrated into the wider plot of S2 but I think they could've easily kept those parts without forcing it quite this much. The pixies that are bonded to the Winx are one of the worst offenders of this forced involvement. Their basic concept is a really good idea with giving the Winx a variation of their opposite traits to help them develop and conquer their fears/weaknesses (and they're still by far the best version of this type of "bonded cutesy mascot" the series repeated several times) but the execution is not nearly as good. If they had properly executed this idea, I'd like the bonded pixies in general a lot more. But as is, this ranking will go from "Least Useless" to "Most Useless" because I don't think any of them provide all that much value to the story and their screentime would've been better spent focusing on other characters.
