Hello.

I realized with time that this post is very much needed.

Guarded is my main story, my beloved Light Rock Au that answers the question: What if one of the Trix wasn't freed in S2 and was forced to work with Winx. In my case it's Darcy.

Each character got DEPTH and I tried to remain as close to their canon personalities as possible.

Also I analyze scripts and it is based on og dub and polish dub. No 4kids sorry.

Gloomix and Charmix in Guarded

Hello!

I forgot to post about my lore...again. Why is it important? Because I have changed some stuff.

Let's start with the basics.

Both are achieved in the same way. Through a courageous act. Defeating your fear and becoming stronger. BUT if you lose your battle to fear again you will LOSE CHARMIX/GLOOMIX. It's a magical boost and can be lost but also regained.

Also I hate charmix bags so they don't exist for me as far as I am aware.

If you want to know how Winx got Charmix in my version go read my story. Moving on what about Gloomix? Well it's a magical boost and can be given and gained. The one from Darkar is given. It exists as long as Darkar exists meanwhile real gloomix is yours and yours alone unless you succumb to your fears again. Now I decided because of that to redesign Trix gloomix to what they should have had. How did they gain it? Well for now to avoid spoilers I won't say ;D.

Icy's Gloomix.

Icy's gloomix is a hair tie/ hair cuff. It's made of white gold, pearls and ice shards. It takes over her regular hair tie. The shards are blue/blueish tint and is probably the most shiny out of all three.

Stormy's Gloomix.

It's on her upper arm instead of her hand. It makes more sense to me. Stormy is powerful, love to throw arms, hands are delicate for spells that require hand movement not creating tornadoes with a spin. Inspired a bit by reboot the colors are ruby and rose gold. It's big, loud, elegant and so fitting.

Darcy's Gloomix

I already talked about it here

Gold, amythysts, chains, all about her hand not taking her whole arm. it's very witchy yet delicate and connected to her constant had movements she does to cast spells. It fits her what can I say? Also finally drew it XD.

Diaspro said it herself. That's the whole point. Preparing to be the queen which was stolen from her by Bloom. I swear this girl reached her limit and Valtor gladly exploited it.

S3 again:

Diaspro didn't even wanted to be there but used the opportunity presented to her.

Sky was innocent in all of this. He drink a reminder a SPIKED WITH MAGIC DRINK BECAUSE HE WOULD NEVER THINK TWICE THAT DIASPRO WOULD DO IT TO HIM. And what he is now accused of being an idiot.

That dude was celebrating, was happy, wanted to present his girl to the court and trusted people he grew up with. Diaspro isn't a stranger, she might be the closest woman to him besides his own fucking mother.

And somehow you all instead of seeing how fuck up it is that Sky was used and forced to obey her under the spell and had no say in anything as...his fault????

Because he is a kind prince? Because he saved Diaspro and knew she went through things? Because Sky stayed behind to fight for Red Fountain as he is that kind of a person?

S1:

Sky does things that feel right. He protects people, he fights for them, his status is used to help others and not for selfish reasons.

He was used!

I actually recommend everyone write for a rarepair once because it completely changes your relationship with fandom. Engagement stops being numbers and starts being names. Because you became Rainbow's easiest cash cow/ marketing device/ Hype producer.

The scenes don't even have to make sense. They just need to include them and you the fans will do their job for them. Half of Blicy scenes in reboot have no need to exist as they add zero to the show but--

they know that with them you will shout from rooftops about the show and the ultimate ice/fire ship.

Did Bloom and Icy need to fight so many times? No

Did Icy need to touch Bloom's chest to give her powers back? No

Did Icy need to seek revenge for Bloom? No

Did Icy need to cry? NO

HER CRYING SCENE MAKES ZERO SENSE WHEN YOU REMEMBER HOW ICY TREATS GRIFFIN. She calls her crazy, undermines her, doesn't respect her, gets angry at her, shout at her, uses her as a coverup.

It would make sense if she cried seeing Faragonda with Bloom. If Icy saw Faragonda as a mentor and Bloom took that away from her.

Also about family...Icy doesn't crave the connections. We don't see in a show Icy looking for their bio parents, we don't see hr respecting her sisters especially Darcy who for majority of Part 1 was excluded from plans. Icy wants power, her crying is fan service as it gives fans this sensitive out of nowhere girl.

It's sad.

It's baseless.

And such an easy marketing strategy.

Icy was being reduced to Bloom and it's fucking tragic. SHE DESERVES HER OWN AGENDA. NOT EVERYTHING HAS TO BE ABOUT BLOOM.

It's the same witch who in S1 didn't understand why Darcy was worried about Bloom.

Darcy cared more about killing Winx personally, even Bloom, then Icy ever did in the first 3 og seasons.

This obsessed Icy is a fan service and you only affirm Rainbow in their decision of doing that.

Iorda in Guarded...I guess

Because my child drew this masterpiece

I decided to introduce Iorda ( my child's creation @magixfairyix) to Guarded Universe...well like before Guarded happens so preguarded I guess.

Iorda or more like Isolada Deloraine of Fallat.

A seventeen year old girl (year older than Darcy when she meets her) who is a seer and can see future, has flashes of it often depicted in images, sounds, sentences, visions or even a sensation of doom. Went to CT to figure out what to do with herself. No plan for future as she had left Fallat to both avoid her high ranking parents ( both are ambassadors for Fallat) and being done with being treated as nothing but a deck of tarot cards.

Well known for her diet consisting of chocolate, cigarettes and root beer. She is very independent and doesn't like the idea of destiny, fate and all that crap.

She is her own path setter she doesn't need some divine power or whatever. Somehow she ends up dating Darcy. Both girls were tired of being seen as nothing but their magic ended up getting close.

Iorda is quite independent and you would say she was number one Icy hater. She craved Freedom for Darcy and did it all to let her have a breather. Managed to scare away her last roommate she had her dorm all to herself which both girls happily abused.

Griffin could not careless besides they rarely got seers so she let Iorda had her peace..

Iorda similarly to her OG counterpart is much taller and is quite thin. Some people would say skinny with no curves to her name. Loves wearing black. Leggins, corsets, tank tops, soft cardigans and always combat heeled shoes. As if she needed to be any taller.

Both girls dated for almost a year before Iorda saw vision of Magix collapsing and decided she can't see her first love go that inescapable path and left. To where? Who knows. Iorda was capable of walking anywhere and catching bus, train or ship at speed of light. You blink and she is gone. No limits to her funds world is but a constant journey for her.

Maybe she should be travel blogger? Away from people who ask one too many questions regarding their future?

Let's wish her well.

And a life full of black lipstick stains all over the prettiest women in realm.

Bloom's worst nightmare is to become a witch and here is why.

Let's start before the show even begins.

What we see in Bloom's room

Fairies.

Fantasy.

A dream.

Bloom dreams of becoming not just a magical creature but a fairy. This girl draws the world she might be subconsciously remember.

SHE READS ABOUT FAIRIES. We know from Hallowinx episode that Witches are a thing in pop culture but Bloom doesn't even spare a single thought toward them. Her heart is set on becoming a fairy.

Stella: See, I told you, you could do it. Bloom: Wow. Then I'm really a fairy. Stella: Of course you are, I'm never wrong. S1EP1

For Bloom it's like manifesting sth into a reality.

Bloom: *Closing her eyes* Are we there yet? Can I open my eyes? Tecna: Yes, go ahead, take a look. Musa: You look disappointed. Bloom: Of course I'm disappointed. This is it? Magix? Capital of the realm of Magix, most enchanted city in the universe? Musa: Well, what did you expect? Bloom: I don't know. Dragons, gnomes, wizards, shops full of magic wands... Stella: But that's fairytale stuff. This is the real world. Here everything lives off its own magical energy. Magic is everywhere.S1Ep2

Bloom wanted full on fantasy maybe even sth on level with HP or sth. I do love she named dragons first <3

Griselda: Outside the realm of Magix? Utterly impossible! Bloom: I beg you, don't send me away. I've always wanted to be a fairy with all my heart and now I can make my dream come true. Griselda: You lied to us and that is unforgivable! Faragonda: But, she also has a dream and she totally believes in it. She has displayed a great tenacity and isn't that a quality that every fairy should possess? Griselda: Yes, ma'am.

Bloom after seeing witches we will see her growing distrust of them and just clear hatred towards them. Bloom doesn't trust witches and knowing it was Ancestral Witches who ruined her home planet are we even shocked?

In 3rd ep Bloom feels defeated. She doesn't see why she is in Alfea because how badly she is doing in school. It's realistic, her dream instead of being easy was hit with reality check. Magic requires concentration, repetition, learning.

Bloom was already told who attends the three schools and doesn't question the lack of witches. As far as she knows they are evil and the stunt Trix pulled only confirms her in her believes.

Icy: Hurgh. So long little fairy. Bloom: No! I am a fairy and must not fail! I will succeed!S1EP3

Bloom's faith in herself made her transform. She doubted being a fairy but in presence of evil her light is brighter. Bloom in swamp episode is hunting down troll who worked for someone...after it attacked Stella and her.

Also Bloom calls Amaryl and ungrateful fairy XD.

Bloom: Why a school for fairies can't use magic to cook dinner?! It doesn't make sense! All you've got to do is wave the magic wand, snap your fingers, wiggle the nose a couple of times, and voilà! Everything's ready without any effort! S1EP5

i think what is worth pointing out is Icy was willing to accept the agreement which WINX FUCKNIG BROKE.

I think one of the most telling things is the race in ep 8 where Bloom accuses Trix without any proof. I know that Trix did it...by Griffin's suggestion reminder.

Trix might have gone to the festival just to enjoy life but...they were given job to do. Another one is (I blame show for this one) how no one asks Why Musa was attacked. But that's Bloom being a good friend who wanted to save her so I have nothing to add here.

Bloom: I know you're just holograms but still, you're the Trix and you don't wish me well. Bloom: You witches! I've had it! EP10 *Icy, Darcy and Stormy laugh meanly and the contestant starts to bawl. Bloom watches from around the corner.* Bloom: The usual suspects.ep12

They literally did nothing yet. Bloom is jumping to conclusions...rightfully saw again but no doubt given.

Bloom didn't know yet who she is but she knew being a fairy was everything to her. This is her personal hell. Also I am curious...if Mirta said she was a witch before she introduced herself with Bloom believe what she had to say?

It does make me ponder.

Another golden evidence is meeting Diaspro and the fact that trix on purpose were left out of the episode.

After losing her powers Bloom believes she is useless.

SEASON 2

About Dark Bloom:

At this point why i bother jk.

SEASON 3.

What I want to say is...Bloom hates Ancestral Witches and 100% hates Trix for being their descendants. She wishes Domino returned, her parents to be back and for her to be a full fairy hence the reason why even achieving Enchantix didn't feel like enough. It was another barrier, another obstacle. She dreamed about being a fairy and a long the series she found her purpose and felt complete in it.

Bloom first and foremost wants to be fairy, a warrior, a protector.

Not princess, not a queen not to have a love story.

She wants to be the hero people can look up to.

And with Valtor's defeat, fall of Ancestral Witches and return of Domino she got that. Bloom never looked up to royal lfe.

Bloom craves revenge against people associated with Trix, Ancestral Witches etc.

Winx wouldn't happen if Bloom weren't a fairy. She is THE FAIRY and the number one hater of trix.

I sometimes forget that Bloom is actually like a fairy changeling, but i have never seen that. It explains why Bloom hates so much ancient witches - she isn't just know what they did, she *remembers*.

Mind is a powerful thing. I also have a headcanon that because Daphne was the last person who had dragon flame and she gave it to Bloom after her death the power "remembers" and some remnants of her aura are still connected to the flame so Bloom can hear and see her sister.

The mind knows.

The magic knows.

Was she just a real handler or a transmitter? I am not sure that works like that - Bloom gave her power to Icy, and that changed anything.

But that's really strange about Daphne having connection. All handlers could connect? But Valtor didn't (His magic survelliance was probably on that, though). All heirs could connect? I wonder if their parents could do that lol. Real nightmare for any teenager.

What if her magic was activated when she appeared in Magix? What if that depends of distance - Daphne was in the lake near Alphea. What if Daphne just knew that Bloom came to Alphea and visited her dreams on purpose? What if Daphne put sparkle and kinda imprinted herself in Bloom's mind. What if she just was the last face Bloom had seen in magic dimension, and that imprinted Daphne in Bloom's head? If mind knows, that should have happen like that.

I guess I must go with longer answer.

I am basing it on canon, OG italian dub, whatever polish dub was and my theories.

Dragon flame is not a power you can inherit or have. It's Domino's essence. Without it it cannot be a plant full of life. In a tragedy that was war Daphne removed the core in order to protect it and to stop Ancestral Witches once they reached Domino. She bought everyone a precious time but Ancestral Witches were stronger, maybe also by using vacuums were able to find Daphne who was supposed to escape with Bloom to Earth but had to sacrifice herself instead.

Bloom has powers, but they are not dragon flame. What are they? also something flame related maybe as Domino in one weird af dub is called Sparx maybe she is a fairy of sparks?

Bloom is a fairy but when you hear your whole life you are one thing in her case a human why would you believe anything else? Until the magical even in Gardenia Bloom had no reason to manifest or try to manifest anything and as I said dragon flame works a bit differently as its not a power but a core.

Another thing with Daphne. My own headcanon says that Lake Raccaluce is connected to Lake on Domino. Such connection was created to easily reach Light Rock which was a military base during the war. Daphne cannot leave the lake but we see her travel to Domino. That's why. And Yes Daphne could not reach Bloom until she finally sensed her presence but maybe she waited for the dragon flame to be activated? And be forced to contact her? If Bloom never met Stella Daphne would have no reason to get in contact with Bloom.

Dragon Flame would remain safe on Earth. Trix were attacking Stella so they weren't going after Bloom either. Daphne's mission was to keep the flame safe and she succeeded.
