Can’t decide how to format these two chapters. For context:

It follows six moments from November 30-December 20th. 3 moments from Eddie’s POV and 3 moments from Buck’s POV. If I did them in timeline order it would be:

1. Eddie, Buck, Eddie

2. Buck, Eddie, Buck

OR do it Eddie’s POV chapter and then Buck’s POV chapter but the timeline would jump around a little…

Which is easier to read?

Full chapter in one POV (time jump around a little between the two chapters)

Chronically (and switch between the two POVs in both chapters)

'Fools Rush In' Question

I have a dilemma, gang.

Good news: I've found the inspiration to complete a good, missing chunk of Sketch & Keeps's honeymoon (\o/ yay!).

Bad news: it's not the whole thing, and I don't like to post fic over 5k in one go. I also have the perfect titles for just two chapters of 'The Right Partner'--i.e. take my hand/take my whole life too--and what I'm about to ask will mean splitting the second 'chapter' in two.

If this sh*t hadn't already taken me a year and a half, I wouldn't ask, but since we've all waited this long...

What do I do?

split the chapter and post part one soon

wait until it's complete and post the (likely over 7k) chapter then

#6 Which character is hardest to write? 

His name is Billy Russo and he is a jerk. 

Even when I have a really clear idea of the plot for a story I feel like I struggle with Billy. Keeping things in character is extremely important for me. I tend to change things with all of my characters- circumstances, traits, what have you. IMO that’s what makes writing fic fun, that sort of “well what if this happened, or what if that didn’t happen” and the what ifs that I tend to think about for Billy are pretty big ones that I feel would create pretty big changes in who he is and what he makes room for in his life. 

I love ISY but I also am intimidated by it. I don’t feel like it is my strongest writing. I was really proud of Jigsaw but I still second guess some of the decisions that I made. I have a new Billy story brewing and I am being more discerning than ever before because I really don’t want to have any doubts at any point after it gets posted. I’m a few thousand words into it and I already know there are things I want to change, so I’m not sure when it will see the light of day, but until I feel the same way about it that I do about CD or PT then it’s going to live in my WIP folder.
