Author’s Note: I’ve finally done it— I’ve planned out Echo|Aurora’s plot for the Wisdomverse, then finished writing and drawing this whole Interlude. It took a while, but I really wanted to get Echo’s story the way I pictured it. Thankfully, I’m quite fond of what I’ve ended up with.

And— as a special surprise— Part 3 (which will conclude the interlude) will be released next week at the same time.

I’m looking forward to it :).

wisdomverse doodles! if you’re bored you can just draw a zelda thats it that’s all. it’s mostly dawwwnn bc shes my favorite.

+a face study for the wis downfall girls. i’m not sure if this is intentional in wis, but they share a lot of design conventions (puffed sleeves, brooch/necklace, noticeable bright eyes.) i just tried bringing it out more with the little hair wings and peter pan collars.

Happy 1st anniversary to Echoes of Wisdom! (and 37th anniversary to the PAL release of Adventure of Link!)

The Tri doll Dawn made (with Sun’s help!) was in part inspired by linkeduniverse’s old plush Tri design, which I thought was very cute :). I started this minicomic all the way back when that was posted and finally finished it now 😇.

I had a lot of fun putting this together— and a lot of fun checking these against my predictions. There was never any doubt in my mind that Flora would win, but some of these results genuinely surprised me! Tetra fans really pulled through on the final stretch :)

Notes:

We’re taking a quick break from the main plot of Wielders of Wisdom to cover a short interlude about Aurora I’ve had planned for a while— now with 100% more Echo :). You can imagine this happens sometime before the events of The Founder’s Call.

Also, shoutout to this cute art by @starshinedreamer for the idea that Flora gave Dawn blue nightshades from her era! Dawn grew more of them, and put some around the room Echo was asleep in to make the place feel a bit more cozy. (Echo doesn’t go back to this room much though.)
