I just wanted to go ahead and put myself out there for those who may not be aware, but I officially moved from Etsy to my own website last year and started publishing a ton of free, thorough information through articles and a growing online grimoire. If you're feeling overwhelmed by AI content and exorbitant pricing in the metaphysical community, please consider having a look. I have a bunch to offer with more on the way, and I run all of it myself. 💜

Since moving away from Etsy and upgrading, I've also started offering metaphysical supplies, decor, and more sourced from other manufacturers to sell alongside my handmade goods at affordable prices. If there's anything that you feel runs a bit on the expensive side elsewhere, I'll see what similar items I can find on the market or craft myself to stock for you. I've also got some reworked handmade items of mine and some new ones on the way for those who have been around since the Etsy days. I also plan to start recording my articles soon for those who prefer audio. Updates to come.

Does anyone have advice for connecting with your ancestors when you.. don't know anything about your family's history?

My family never kept track of our lineage or our ancestry; plus the fact that I never even met my father so I have nothing on his side.

I.. don't really have a field of study, in either career or spirituality. Despite 10 years, I'm still finding my footing and what exactly my path will be in witchcraft. And in terms of career, I just don't have one. I currently work in customer service and child care but I don't think that's where I'll stay and I don't know the.. "ancestors" of either field.

I just don't know what to do here. Something about ancestor work feels important but it seems I don't have any and that just further feeds into my feelings of being disconnected from the world.

Does anyone have a specific book of Homeric hymns that they would recommend? I’m looking at getting one, but I’m not sure which translation/publisher would be best.

I don’t want to settle for the most popular option if it’s not necessarily the best in terms of translation. Perhaps you know of a version that has more than just Homer’s hymns as well? Please let me know :) ☀️💛

Context: In philosophy, ontology is the study of being and existence. Many magical traditions differ in whether they treat the spiritual world as a separate dimension, a symbolic construct, or an inseparable aspect of the physical realm. Pagan animism, for instance, often assumes an interwoven reality where spirit and matter are inseparable, while ceremonial traditions may compartmentalize them.
