now I'm cracking up at the idea of the Grimas liking metal or "dark" songs but also liking acoustic or what could essentially be lullabies because of the dragon kiddos-imaGINE THE GRIMAS SINGING DISNEY

The Grimas would totally like rock and death metal. But they would like softer songs, acoustic or even folk songs. Their tastes would be about as eclectic as Kiran’s own, in part because the vessel would have particular tastes but also because they would recognize that some of that music is just really nice.

Also the Grimas singing Disney would definitely happen. Kiran might not have the whole movies accessible, but you just know that they’ve entertained the creche with storybook versions of the movies with the soundtracks getting played at key moments. The kids would totally fall in love with certain stories, certain songs…and whether they mean to or not, the Grimas would end up learning them. And then sing them on request for the kids. They’d make sing-alongs out of some and use others as actual lullabies, first singing then humming the melodies as the kids doze off.

Anna would absolutely try to catch audio of all that, get caught in the act, and get thrown out of the ballroom again.
