Omega Jeremy who spends all his heats with various partners, but after Jean’s I choose you everytime, he can’t go through with it. So he calls Jean to pick him up from some bone headed alpha’s place after aborting mid hookup, and only realizes, upon Jean literally pulling up to said alpha’s place, that he called Jean, because his omega wanted its alpha, and apparently, it had chosen Jean. And he’s embarrassed and trying to pretend like he’s not literally reeking of preheat and coming down with a fever and out of an alpha’s house while reeking of preheat and coming down with a fever but after a brief moment of surprise Jean just wraps his jacket around Jeremy’s shoulders and helps him get his helmet on—not before checking that Jeremy is ok and threatening to tear the alpha limb from limb if he hurt Jeremy, though—and asks if he’ll be alright to hold on.
Back at the apartment, Jean helps him build a nest, and gets him comfortable, and once he’s settled, goes to leave. But before he can Jeremy catches him by the wrist and asks him to stay? Please? And when Jean only stares at him, realizes what that sounds like and pulls back like he’s been burned. And he looks away and cringes and says sorry, sorry, that was —ignore me. I’ve just never spent a heat alone before and I think it’s throwing me off. And Jean reaches forward and catches Jeremy by the chin to get a better look at his face, and tells him that if you want me to stay, I will. And reluctantly, Jeremy agrees, but only if Jean is okay with it. And Jean says he would not have offered if he wasn’t.
So Jeremy agrees and invites him into his nest and tells Jean that they don’t have to do anything. And in the end they don’t. The heat ends up like no other Jeremy has ever experienced —just a lot of Jeremy passed out and curled around Jean, and jean doting on him and making sure they’re both fed . And when the heat ends, Jeremy’s more than a little confused, because it was by far the easiest heat he’s ever had, and he hadn’t even needed a knot to help it
