trigger warnings are like. gay marriage. they have absolutely no effect on people outside of the group that directly benefit from it, and they definitely don’t cause anyone harm, but people somehow manage to get really upset about them anyways.

Can I be honest and say there’s only uses of ai of that actually bother me

1. Using it for crimes/defamation (revenge porn, using someone’s voice to make them say something with the purpose of making them look bad)

2. Companies laying off their staff in favor of AI’s that are not of high enough quality to do the work they’re replacing

3. Using it for schoolwork (though a lot of this like most instances of cheating is a symptoms of a poorly designed education system imo)

And of course the constant advertising is annoying as fuck

other than that I just can’t be bothered. I don’t care if someone wants to chat with a bot. I don’t care if someone wants an image. It just not my business and does not affect me.

tbh I think we do people a disservice to expect them not to grow, or that we do not accept and allow their growth as people just because they made mistakes in the past.
