I have a migraine rn but do you think it could be possible that Caleb dreams about fragment of memories about his mom? And a certain nightmare of watching his mama being taken away from him as he’s dragged away to Ever.

Idk, i just had a thought that he’s sleeping next to you, and you wake up when you hear his ragged breathing. He’s murmuring something like.. “mama.. mom..” and almost yells in his sleep before shooting out of bed and quietly crying as you rub his back, unsure what to do.

I just really feel like this is how most of their interactions went after Sans quit his job as RS. Whether they got into an argument that ended it or not, they would be such lowkey besties. Mutual pining + idiots in love + presumed unrequited trope is so AUGH. these two are seriously the gold mine EVER for aspec shippers. TELL ME THEIR SLOW BURN WOULDN'T BE ASTRONOMICAL AND AWESOME

Anyways i also just think they usually send shitty memes to eachother, its only occasionally that Sans actually pops up at her house. And if it is, its under the fact hes had a terrible nights sleep, or he just really needs to be around someone. Alphys knows this, but it stays unsaid... because they're only friends, barely best friends anymore. and where are you supposed to draw the topical line with friends if not deep, intense emotions?? also she just... doesn't feel like she would help much.
