Leshen Forest Guardian   So I've been playing The Witcher 3 recently and there were some really neat monster designs which caught my eye. Deer skulls are just my weakness. The game is awesome, you should definitely try it out if you haven't yet. The leshen in slavic mythoilogy is a forest spirit which might decieve humans who pass through its forest. The leshen sleeps underground during the winter and comes out in spring. It can come in many different forms like werewolf, giant, hairy monster with goat horns, an owl or even an old man. In the Withcer 3 the leshen is much more dangerous. It is a very territorial ancient forest guardian which resides in ancient forests and it is very hostile towards humans who dare to enter its habitat. The leshen can control animals and plants with magic as it has a deep conncetion with nature. Leshens in the game can mark humans living near their territory if there are such. If a human gets marked the leshen will reanimate if killed thus rendering it immortal unless the marked individual dissappears or dies. Those unfortunate enough to found themselves living near leshen's territory often worship the monster as a god. Despite it being very powerful the leshen has one weakness and that is fire. Although some might get confused by its design in the game and mistake it for the North-American wendigo the leshen couldn't be further from it, it has nothing to do with canibalism and it's not a demon, it has never been a human and it's body is made entirely of wood and bones.

So today I wanted to start working on a more symbolic composition. A Skyrim/Witcher thing I started playing the Witcher 3 for the first time 2 days ago(loving the hell out of it) and I noticed that the game feel I have is very similar to my Modded Skyrim with my dragonborn chick Beth Ravencoft.I have the same soundtracks(a mod that added a few witcher osts) i had some dodge mod,different creatures to fight,a callable horse and well a strong saturated atmosphere(using some visual mod).Also for the characters:my character Beth in the Indie comic universe I made states the she used to be a monster hunter before becoming a veteran vampire hunter(Dawnguard member in the Skyrim universe),and well Geralt's whole thing is being a monster hunter for pay.Also they are both superhuman in their own way and have inhuman eyes,Beth being a werewolf and Geralt a witcher. Sooo I decided to draw this thing,will color it tommorow probably. I will also do a Solikar version of Beth with a Vampire Harpie replacing the Dragon as well
