Greetings and salutations to you, one and all. Your search for a deeper understanding into the world of personality disorders...
Today is World Mental Health Day! It is a torch carried now by the WHO (World Health Organization) to bring attention to issues surrounding mental health and psychological disorders, so yours truly is also out here trying to draw attention to this area which has had a profound effect on my own life.
While others will be surely be discussing depression, anxiety, and trauma related disorders on their profiles, I will be staying in my lane, today, and discussing personality disorders (specifically those of Cluster B). Seeing as how I am professionally diagnosed as having three of them, it seemed only appropriate, especially given the recent fascination with "diagnosing" people in society whom we dislike with these very disorders.
Rather than drone on further in the confines of a Facebook status, I have inserted a link to my blog where I detail what life with these horrific and misunderstood disorders is like. Each of my entries is catered to a specific symptom or aspect of my disorders with the goal of demystifying them and the stigma surrounding this field of psychology.
The entry I have selected to share with you all is one which introduces the reader to the world of personality disorders, discusses some of the key myths about the disorders, and sets the tone for the road ahead. Now, out of respect for my friends with trauma-related disorders, consider this a *TRIGGER WARNING* for subject matter which discusses the following: abuse, self-harm, and suicide.
If you know someone who has a personality disorder and whom you think would benefit from reading my blog, please, feel free to share it with them. If you would just like to share the blog in general to help spread information on this field of psychology, by all means, go right ahead. And naturally, if you ever want to ask me personal questions about my disorders, I am at full disclosure.
Finally, if you want to like my posts, share them with others, and follow my blog for all future entries on the Cluster B Personality Disorders, feel free to click the link to the full blog: https://schrodingersmirror.blogspot.com/

Hello there! Today is #WorldMentalHealthDay and as someone who has been struggling with social anxiety for years it seems only right for me to to join the #HelloYellow campaign and wear yellow for a day! (technically my jumper is mustard but i don’t own anything yellow so...) Please, if you’re a UK citizen and if you can, text “YMHY17 £3″ to 70070 to help raise money for YoungMindsUK (the website allows donation from non-UK citizens too!!). If you live in Europe you can donate to Mental Health Europe. If you live in the US you can donate to National Alliance for Mental Health.
If you don’t live in any of these countries you can check out your local organizations. If you can’t donate, that’s ok, but it would be cool if you could show us support by wearing something yellow and posting a picture on tumblr and twitter using the hashtags #helloyellow, #worldmentalhealthday and #wmhd17.
To all of you out there who are struggling with their mental health: I love you and you are so so strong and I’m proud of you.
Bonus blog post for #WorldMentalHealthDay ✨💛 Talking about mental health may not be enough but it helps more than you know. Link in bio👆🏼#WMHD17 #mhblogger
