UPDATE TO MY WOF BASE FILLS

I was doing basefills and found a few annoying things about it overtime so I've done a few changes to a few tribes that I plan to expand to the rest of them overtime.

The idea is:

Seperate claws and horns

Seperate sclera, iris, mouth, teeth

Seperate wings from inbetweens like webs and veils

Seperate spikes from overscales

The current CHANGES are:

SandWings updated with a bit of touch up, isolated claws and talons layer, isolated veil layer, sclera and mouth, teeth and iris

LeafWings with isolated webs layer, talons layer, sclera and iris, patterns on the scutes and the wings

SeaWings with a touch up, isolated webs layer, claws and horns, sclera and mouth, teeth and iris

Removed:

Idk if I ever added them but just in case I removed Sillius Goofus' Diamond Pattern and Spirit978's SeaWing royal pattern. I wanted users to give them credit and not assume that I made those.

So what I did made and added in:

Desert Tiara, Eye of Onyx, Thorn's Moonstone Necklace, Thorn's Band, and Qibli's earring for the SandWings

All of these updates are in the form of PSDs however until I finish everything, I won't make seperate layers yet. The old seperate layers are still there in a seperate folder.

canon chs refs for my au

fierceteeth, now a mini ruler and main rep of nightwings ruling in Renewal with strongwings and sequoia with hazel who passed down the crown.

in the au the leafsilk kingdom literally puts to kingdoms together meaning the leafwings have a ruling body next to the silkwings, still a monarchy.

queen ruby who in the au actually began to sort of shift her appearance between her former and current self. i like ruby's palette tho. theres only one error, the wings should be dark red not orange

sky bc i am still somewhat upset sky didn't resemble a fireless skywing so i blended the cover and gn designs together

oc time for wof au again

twin daughters of sequoia. the first one is Princess Birch and the second is Princess Oak. Birch was the chosen to be successor admist the war to prevent a succession issue, even if her sister wouldn't dare to challenge her. Birch was a great fighter and very prevelant in the Tree Wars, though not for her body count but for her attempt to create peace at the Leaf-Hive border she survellianced. For a bit before the othermind broke a deal with Queen Wasp, she actually succeeded for the most part. She found a partner in a HiveWing who feigned peace, Fester, and the two had a dragonet. Unfortunately Wasp swapped that border with a new set of HiveWings ending in a fight between the taken aback LeafWings, including Birch who was in the middle of waiting for her and Fester's second dragonet to hatch. Ultimately Birch fled with their firstborn but was caught in the scuffle, deciding to pass the dragonet onto her sister. Oak had to watch her sister, her light, her hope, die right in front of her. To her it was a sign for her to flee from the war entirely, taking along many similar minded LeafWings and creating a third faction, the CottonWings, all without even having time to wave the rest of her subjects goodbye. Due to this Sequoia believed both of her daughters were dead, now looking towards Sycamore's lineage which in this au is the grandfather of Hazel. Oak also renamed herself to Juniper to put her past more behind her for comfort, ruling over her faction as their pseudo-queen.

son of birch, Prince Thistle. He is in fact a hybrid like Sunny is. Leaf-Hive. I still need to edit his reference more but I decided to settle on this for now. He already knows dragons around him are suspicious of or don't like him so he mostly stays out of others' noses. Though lately as stress increases and the Poisonous Jungle fire nearly claimed their faction, he's become a source of comfort as he is a great stable rock to vent on and totally isn't acting as such to soak in the only approval from his subjects he has.

monarch ref. a bit rough but good enough. only changes i need to make is to make the antennae longer and fix and yellow and orange wing pattern to be smaller so the white patterns can fit, especially on the lower wings

Queen Pondhawk. she is an oc who is technically the official queen of silkwings during Wasp's total reign, unofficial to the hivewing empire. she is the niece Monarch and the final surviving heir, having escaped mostly with aid from her flamesilk. she was sought after for years while she and a group of silkwing escapees recreated the silk kingdom far away in what is known as Diadem Village.

she is what many members hoped for Monarch to be within the war, actively defending her dragons.

assiduous the mother of fatespeaker in this au. she had planned to donate her egg to morrowseer into the moment of the exchange where she changed her mind and tried to run away. she was pushed into the lava in the discourse and died.

iridescent an animus during the diamond era hidden by her dad. she became friends of pykrete and snowdrop, diamond using pykrete to eventually convince iridescent to attend a supper with the intentions of enchanting her drink to make her under diamond's control but then dad jumpscare and said the gauntlet wasn't safe under the guise that HE poisoned them all when asked enough about why. he was executed diamond using the 'attempted poisoning' as an excuse for a brutal one mainly for thwarting her plan. she also uses it to lock up iridescent. pykrete jailbreaks her and they flee in the midst of a battle where pykrete fights diamond while iri books it and reunites with snowdrop. she finishes an enchantment by a previous icewing to port them to a set future, joined later by pykrete and a hybrid lightbringer who finished the enchantment with iri and now they're in present pyrrhia.

princess chalcedony the eldest heir of diamond in this au. not an animus but p much burn if she was an icewing but less crazy. brute forces everything and is rude and pessimistic, believe's everyone is against her so why be nice. opportunistic and diamond always hated her as she thought chalcedony was going to challenge her (and chalce having war experience could actually win). luckily for diamond, chalcedony and pykrete were sent into a night-ice battle where chalcedony took a deadly blow and died for pykrete.

princess snowdrop is the adopted daughter of snowfox and snowflake in this au. despite having motivating moms who want her to understand she's worth more than what she believes, she still remains with self esteem issues as she's often bullied for her 'non pure' appearance. she becomes friends with pykrete and then iridescent who she crushes on. she joined in the enchantment transporting them to the future.

ocs drop first pykrete formerly unbreakable bfore i changed it. she's a daughter of queen diamond who, along with her friends, traveled to modern day to escape the night-ice war from an enchantment between an animus and their mother. she got into a fight with her friends earlier out of envy, though saved one of them and is currently protecting both of them fiercely.

then heres Spot a rainwing who escaped from nightwing captors by mimicking their appearance. they after a bit more unlucky encounters learned how to mimic every tribe, using it to avenge herself and other rainwings by taking up assassin jobs infiltrating into places and killing the target. everyone knows them as Ghost for being like a practical unstoppable reaper yet everywhere as they never appear the same but there's a hint of them in random dragons across the tribes not knowing its actually them.
