To everyone who likes and loves Wings Of Fire: if I had Selfship with one of Wings Of Fire Characters...

which character should or at least be ok Selfship with?....

Followup to my The Keyholder Chronicles trio as Wings of Fire dragons post yesterday, here is WoF BD/Shardie/Meg…Shadowsneak. Shadowsneak was from an old Undertale AU (Shardie in general was made who she was through Undertale) which was also Wings of Fire. It was just Undertale characters as WoF dragons and can be found on my DeviantArt page, so I won’t get into it here.

Shadowsneak, though, was a NightWing with foresight and mind reading (it was relevant to her story)…but that doesn’t fit the current Shadowsneak, who is my sona (BD/Shardie/Meg). For the longest time I struggled with what my WoF self should be…I love IceWings and SeaWings, but my mascot/sona has always been black (see username) so I would want NightWing in the mix. But I also didn’t want to be a crazy mutation of four tribes in one…that doesn’t sound like it would fit with the world of WoF at all.

So I settled with this: Shadowsneak is a RainWing/SeaWing hybrid raised by a RainWing (mom) and NightWing (dad) (not GloryBringer) couple with her two other adopted siblings (tribes to be decided) Because of this, she likes to look like a NightWing so changes her scales to look like them.

Her other favorite color to turn into is purple, but there are times she wishes she was an IceWing instead. They’re so pretty and sharp and breathe freezing death! The best she can do is change into their colors. lol She also has gills like a SeaWing, but I haven’t decided if she has venom as well.

But that’s Shadowsneak (WoF me) outside of that Undertale AU I mentioned. I’m likely going to draw mostly the TKC trio more, but if I think if anything to do with Shadowsneak I’ll draw her.

Was looking back through old art, and I realized I never drew a self insert for the wings of fire series, so here's DiamondBack!

He's a sandwing rainwing hybrid (3/4 sandwing 1/4 rainwing)

he was born with an underdeveloped tail barb, and over the years shed ended up getting suck on it, resulting in a rattle.

He does have rainwing venom, and a small amount of ability to change the colors of his scales, but only on the areas with diamond patterns.

More of Grim!!!! The night/skywing!!!

Plus some bits of lore about him!!!!!

He’s a nightwing/skywing hybrid who hatched in a nightwing clutch, he absorbed his twin in the embryo and was born in an explosion of heat, boiling the dragonets in the other eggs in his clutch.

He was born on a rare “Moonless” night, where all 3 moons were in the New Moon phase, casting darkness and endless stars upon Pyrria.

Because of that, the nightwings declared him cursed, giving him the name of “Grim” because of the fates that others had from merely being around him.

When it was discovered that the father of the egg he hatched from was a skywing and thats why he had so much fire, he was banished from the nightwing kingdom and sent on assasination assignments, becoming nothing more than a tool for their dirty work with how adept he was at killing thanks to his overheated scales.

Eventually, he tired of being under their control and broke free of the ties to the nightwings that bound him, setting off ona journey to discover who he really was behind all the mysterious nightwing propoganda, and maybe even find his father, if he was still alive.

(Please note this backstory is a work in progress as I’m only halfway through book 3!!!)
