Hey. I need resources to learn how to unionize my workplace and tifferent avenues we can take to get that done. we havent been given any raises in 5 years, ran our workplace without any management for months, endured death threats by other coworkers, our wages have been stolen, we work in unsafe circumstances, and our voices arent heard. All of us are at the end of our rope barely making ends meet. does anyone have resources for unionizing?
They dont want an armed "woke" population
Ive only been on Tumblr for a few months, but Ive noticed that most if not all pro second amendment accounts are either overtly cryptofascist conservative bots, theyre selling something, or they are running a military recruiting campaign
Now Im all for salesman ship, but hear me out about the pro 2A fascists
They know about how gay Tumblr is so a logical reason for them to have so many bot accounts programmed to be racist as well as queer and trans phobic is to dissuade the mass majority of Tumblr users from being openly pro 2nd Amendment
Now I dont think he shot that pos, but Luigi Mangione and whoever was the shooters mere existence fucks up all that rhetoric
In conclusion I think your gay ass should own a gun
Preferably without a serial number
Here's a nugget for the critical reading crowd
Yes, I know, doctors are late to the game, only now experiencing what many job classes went through 30-50 years ago. Yes, yes, we're a privileged class.
What my point is, is that we are all, all of us, being proletarianized. Even those of us who were over thought of as classically wealthy are now pawns to the owner class
AI-Bros “We developed this large language model that is kinda good at picking out key information and synthesising responses to this information based on statistical likelihoods and large datasets of previous similar examples. It’s going to disrupt the whole job industry”
Me “Oh cool, so it’ll be used to replace overpaid CEO’s and directors of companies, therefore allowing the business to spend more on employee wages instead of over inflated pay packages to high ups?”
AI-Bros “ =) ”
Me “You’re going to use it to replace even more entry level workers while transferring those ‘savings’ from less wages into CEO’s and directors aren’t you…”
AI-Bros “Give it up for disrupting the system!”
‘No One Wants to Work Anymore,’ Says Boss Who Actively Makes Work Unbearable
ROCKFORD, ILLINOIS - Expressing his frustrations on what he describes as a “complete lack of work ethic” in today’s job market, area businessman John Howie, 68 has spent the past week complaining about how nobody wants to work anymore, despite the fact that he’s the very reason that nobody wants to work anymore.
“I just don’t get it,” Howie said while sipping coffee in his office, which is fully equipped with a leather recliner and a flatscreen TV that gets HBO. “Back in my day, we would show up to work every single day and work hard until our shift was over. It didn’t even matter if we got paid that day — because the quality of our work meant more to us. But now, this younger generation will flat out refuse to work if the workplace is ‘toxic’ or if we don’t provide a ‘living wage.’ Like, give me a break!”
Former employees, however, paint a different story. “He would yell at us for taking our legally required breaks,” said one former employee who asked to remain anonymous. “He really expected us to work at all hours during our shifts, and would often force us to take overtime without any additional payment, threatening repercussions if we didn’t.”
This former employee was luckily able to escape Howie’s reign of terror after being offered a better paying job at a different company. Other employees, however, weren’t so lucky. Howie, however, claims that these claims are exaggerated.
“People are just entitled nowadays,” Howie explained. “If you want to get paid then you’ve gotta work for it — that’s how it’s always worked. If you’re just gonna sit here and whine and complain about working conditions, then don’t be surprised when I pocket your paycheck.”
