Cross Tantei Monogatari (クロス探偵物語) - 1998
This is a commercial for a detective adventure game released on the Saturn, and later PlayStation, called Cross Tantei Monogatari. The title was the very first game that was released by WorkJam, the developer known for creating several entries in the Jake Hunter (Tantei Jinguji Saburo) franchise. Yutaka Kaminaga, famous for creating the Zero4 Champ franchise, designed/wrote the game and it featured artwork by seinen manga artist Ippei Tamaki. The soundtrack was also created by Yoshitaka Azuma, who was the composer of the original Panzer Dragoon.
From what I understand, Cross Tantei Monogatari has a cult following in Japan who often request for a sequel to be made because it seems the game ends on some kind of cliff hanger. There was even a fake trailer (at least I think its fake) for Cross Tantei Monogatari 2 that was posted online around in 2007.
12 January 2019:
Today we have a bittersweet announcement to share with you. First, the sweet, we’re excited to announce that Peerio and our entire team have been acquired by WorkJam, a leading digital workplace platform that shares in our mission to provide simple and secure communications. For the bitter, this means the Peerio service will be closing on July 15th, 2019. It’s been an incredible journey these last four years for Peerio, and we couldn’t have done it without you, our users. So we want to offer a sincere thank you for your support and everything you’ve done to help advance usable security.
Arc System Works bringing Jake Hunter back ⊟
Or, rather, Tantei Saburo Jinguuji as the detective with the contemptible, but contemplative smoking habit is known in Japan.
The bad news is that original developer Workjam closed down, but the good news is that ASW picked up the IP along with three others (Theresia, a series seen on DS via Aksys Games, was included) and already announced a new 3DS Jinguuji game, Ghost of the Dusk.
No idea if it’ll be localized -- these things do have a lot of text -- but there are a lot of companies working with Arc System Works these days, and Arc System Works is even self-publishing.

Lower Turnover Begins With A Culture Of Engagement
By Steven Kramer, WorkJam
Effective communication is the cornerstone of any successful relationship, working or otherwise.
Unfortunately, only half of retailers have a direct line of communication to their frontline employees. This disconnect has major implications for the work environment and the relationship between the corporate office and the floor — often leaving employees feeling disengaged.
