I've got good news and bad news: You're going to isekai into the Wormverse. Technically, the you that woke up yesterday morning is going to isekai into Earth Bet, actually. So it's a bit of a 'regression' too. It's not a Peggy Sue; you won't remember anything since yesterday morning. So me warning you about it won't help; and I wasn't going to bother giving you the anxiety. I can't stop this. Not even sure why it's happening. So I was gonna let you enjoy the week you've got left as best you can because I can't stop it; just another random tragedy. But it turns out that I CAN do something. See, you also won't be in your own body. (Congratulations/condolences.) I can pick whose body you end up in. It has to be a human though; no Dragon, no Brutus. Case 53s are allowed though. Parahumans are assumed but not required. The Three Blasphemies aren't allowed and neither are the already dead. Also, well, baby Aster isn't allowed. It turns out that "human" starts at some point after that age. : / Timeframe is a few months after Annette's death. Inconvenient. Don't know why. So which character that is mentioned in canon (however obliquely or briefly) do you wanna be? Your brain will replace theirs. Theirs will replace yours. Sorry about that. Or congratulations. In Earth Bet they'll be sorta dead. ...but probably you'll have to pretend to be them for at least a while. Or flee and hide, I suppose. If you have powers that might help, but a lot of people have powers and most of the powered are sorta...lacking when it comes to respecting autonomy. It won't be comfortable, probably. And you'll have new brain problems. Good luck! I hope the changes your insertion makes to the original canon don't make things worse for you and everyone! But they might. (This was the bad news.) (Oh, the good news? You're getting away right before things get really bad here. The person who ends up in your body will really have their work cut out for them. Maybe leave them some pointers in a biometrically-locked container? But be careful; even the non-secret-police can force you to open biometric containers, so maybe couch any advice you give to the person (assuming you care about them) who is going to be stuck in your body and situation...oof. yes get me outta here omg ok but to business. Undersiders, BB Protectorate, New Wave, and BB villains are not gonna happen. too many people scrutinizing them for potential strangers, you don't wanna get discovered on day 2 and end up locked in the PRT's basement for the rest of time
picking a villain from another city and then trying to go to the bay is likely going to draw a lot of heat from the heroes, and picking a hero from another city would make it hard to make it into the story. Which you're (me) probably going to want to do, given that the average person's luck with surviving canon worm is not very high.

this leaves us with very few parahumans and a lot of unpowered people. To be fair, you could probably pass off canon knowledge as a low level thinker power or something.
obviously the entities and endbringers aren't allowed cause they're not human but I do think it would be funny to throw an unpowered alien siege weapon into our world lmao.
But when it comes down to it, there is an answer. But let me go over my top 3.
Number 3: Dinah. This would be before Coil, and having futuresight to go with canon knowledge would be pretty useful. Downsides: Coil exists, headaches, at this point in time she wouldn't have many connections outside of Triumph.
Number 2: Piggot. Command over the PRT. Uniquely situated to act on canon knowledge under the cover of being the director. Lots of resources, lots of control. Downsides: Coil exists, headache-inducing job, getting healed might get you thrown in M/S forever (insert Kidney Heist reference), you have to deal with government entities on a daily basis.
Finally, My number one pick. there is one human person, in all of worm, who is uniquely situated in a position with connections to people who are heroes and people who are villains. someone close enough to the plot to make changes for the better using canon knowledge but not so close as to fuck everything up with one bad day. Someone who I don't think it's been confirmed either way if they're capable or incapable of triggering. Someone who's not being checked for M/S every day. Someone who canonically survives all of Worm despite living in the Bay for most of it. Madison Fucking Clements.
