It's a LOT in a day/month! I am a seeker of knowledge, emotion, heart, story, adventure, balance, and self. At random in a day I'll read bits and pieces of many things. In the months time I read bits and pieces of all of these through the day and month plus so much more on Nook, prime, and online - especially essays, #writersresources articles and news topics and more. It's a LOT in a day/month! I am a seeker of knowledge, emotion, heart, story, adventure, balance, and self. At random in a day I'll read bits and pieces of many things. These shared this month are my January reads. Adventure is a big part of my life. I am constantly wanting to seek, see, do. I remember laughing out loud once at a guy describing his life and then telling him to "step outside his four corners". I dated that guy for a short time afterward... Why? At the time I mistook him for stability in my unstable world. More of what I should be and not what I was. I tried to conform. I've made this mistake multiple times. Boredom and bored stuck people are not the same as stable. Joe and I, my partner now many years later bonded first and foremost over travel and adventure and dreams of seeking. We've lived that ever since. He is actually an incredibly stable person and partner to me and yet he has lived and will live a life of adventure with twists and turns AND be able to handle what life holds around those bends. And he can handle my spirit without trying to tame it as most (all) exes have. He even encourages it beyond limits. Anyway, relationship adventures are another story... I love hiking. Backpacking, trail running, rock climbing, finding every hidden neat swimming hole in Summertime, among so much more so this year I'm back at adding backpackers magazine to my list among many books and other material for travel and adventure, passion and hobbies. The magazine motivates me and teaches me but also I'll travel because it gives me a lot of idea and what-to-do ease in that aspect. In the months time I read bits and pieces of all of these through the month plus so much more on Nook, prime, and online - especially essays, #writersresources articles and news topics and more. It's a LOT in a day/month! I am a seeker of knowledge, emotion, heart, story, adventure. I also have been discussing writing through the day in the kinda and also kinda non work sector of life. All writing contributes to my #work writing somehow or is even an extension or part of it. At times it's just the beginning. The sketch of the Shape it will become. In my earliest hours with coffee, sleeping pets, and back in bed, especially a cold winter still dark morning, I currently am writing a works of memoir having to do with mother-daughter relationship. I'll also journal of my dreams and the feelings they gave me or what I woke with. During my 2nd time of the day to write I am working on descriptions mainly, but also allowing free flowing #meditative thought. My intentions of the day. Often this is in the woods or at the waters edge in various parts of my travels. My 3rd writing time is mainly Journaling with the focus being in the present (and a help while memoir journaling/writing of the past). My 4th time of the day is writing on writing while reading on writing. My 5th is essays and short stories but with a step away from the computer and by hand for their awakening. That blue book you see there? So. Many. My 6th also notes and ideas. And my 7th before sleep is free flowing or even what I feel drawn to. In between those moments which may be one word or a thousand by written hand and sometimes type, I actually write for my work directly and non-journaling or note taking writingx by type. And I write a thousand upon a thousand upon a thousand and beyond words in these times.
