Gosh, I hope we fall in love. I hope we go on long car rides, sing loud songs, and stay up late. I hope we’re open with each other, and are comfortable sharing how we’re truly feeling. I hope I look at you like I’m still 17 — glass eyes and a small smile peaking through because I still can’t get over how handsome you are. I hope we never take for granted the time we spend together and apart. Goodness I hope we fall in love.

The flowers raise,

to your indifference,

Meerkats to some king's

Arrival; A parade of swords.

The flowers flake,

Holes in the chimneys,

where you'd burrowed your sadness;

There is a chance of you breathing.

The flowers rise

Like drinks up to the

Heavens. Demi-gods and

Semi-gods exhume,

The dirt in all your burrows.

I clothe my dear breathing,

The air we'd borrowed

from the,

flowers that had sought remembrance,

from an anarchy of lost sparrows.
