Hey there! So for day three of #writerslifeigaug I'm here to show you what motivates me. First off, all of these amazing and talented and supportive people in this writing community. You guys are awesome. Secondly, Lorde. Her lyrics, her music videos, her thoughts, her writing, everything she does I find incredibly inspiring and motivating because shes so talented and a gifted writer. Really study her lyrics, and God, you'll find so many motifs and symbols and themes. Just amazing. Thirdly, other published writers. They motivate me, show me that the dream is achievable. And lastly, reading books by talented writers and excerpts, I find to be very motivating especially when I'm going through a rough patch, sometimes their words can give me the extra push to keep going. And one more thing, I think a writers role in society is to connect people, express shared experiences, to create bonds, and to get people to think critically about their own lives.
