Sleep had been restless. Coffee and breakfast were the only things that came to my mind. I rubbed my eyes and turned the coffee machine on. I winced, waiting for the coffeepot to finish brewing. The coffee machine hissed as though angry with my impatience. I needed something to eat right now. The sweet, nutty scent of coffee hit me, and my stomach growled in anticipation.
