Is it just me that doesn't like that every book I read has a 4ft, shy and insecure girl? Like it's good for ONE book, not in every book. Give me badass, confident and self assured female characters.

Hi guys can you help me with this:

I wanna compare adjectives used to describe man vs woman in romance books. Depending on whether the author is male vs female.

Do you know a recent (2020-2025) cute romance book (not dark romance) written by a man? A hetero story would be great for my essay. Preferably about 300 pages, but just any book written by a man would be helpful.

If you also know a book with similar tropes, written by a woman, this would be great. But there are so many, I'm sure I can find something.
